Really appreciate this. My son is 7. Eszema arrived at age 2. He had a allergy testing and it came back saying he is highly allergic to tree nuts and dust mites. 5yrs later and everyday is a battle. Absolutely awful. X

My goodness, sounds like what I went through. Also, having to apply Vaseline all over, very messy. The steroid creams. Yep. Been there, done that. Always looking for better ways. Some people say that their kid got eczema after being immunized. I have to say, that's what happened to me (well, to my daughter), too. Her skin was fine until that point. The oats do help with inflammation, it won't get rid of it, but it does calm it.

@@noorsultan849 it was not eczema..later on I was diagnosed with tinea corporis. After taking treatment I healed up in 1 month

Another reason to use ointments instead of creams: manufacturers usually need to put preservatives into creams due to the water component. (ointment = oil; cream = oil:water emulsified)

True, that's a good point ! 👍 🔷️Actually , one more recent discovery for us is raw natural shea butter, which also works very well. ❓Does your child also have eczema ? Please do share if there is something specific that works for you and/ or your child 👍
