Doug and Smant together is such a subtly hilarious combo.
This is what you call self awareness and high intellect. You recognized you probably weren’t quite as good as some of the players, teamed up with the best one through beating your competition (*cough* bribery *cough*) and played to your teams strengths which was how strong your teammate was at the game. Honestly a very humble way to win a championship. Kudos to you!
That manual strat was 100% pivotal in winning and getting the most goals. That kind of thinking is one of the reasons you're so damn good at winning challenges
I love how all the streamers are being introduced. One at a time, they are mentioned and then something they are great at and why they will win. The last one was SmallAnt. To which was said, "And then there's SmallAnt." That's it. lol

I know it's perfectly believable and some would say expected, but it feels like a crazy crossover to see SmallAnt and DougDoug chilling with each other. Its just weird to see two vastly different personalities that I really enjoy come together to play some intense violent Mario soccer
Winning by understanding your limits and adapting accordingly is one of the best types of victory, you 100% deserved this
SmallAnt is a type of student who doesn't studies for the exam and still gets the highest marks.

i really like his live chat, they legit helped them, thats some teamwork right there.
I love that the "perfect coordination" between Coney and Smant was just Smant staying back with Waluigi while Coney does literally everything else.

Why compete for scoring points when you can hang back and further fuel the most skilled player, right? Cover their weak spots so all they have to worry about is getting goals! I find it so cool that even though Smant wasn't the most skilled player, it was inevitably his and his chat's amazing idea which supported a highly skilled player, pushing the both if them to a massive victory. It's proof that a good strategy is just as important as a great execution.

I think the one thing that really helped SmallAnt win over Shoujo in the teammate pick was that Ant was one of the few who actually beat Shoujo. The gift subs helped, but I think that just helped say “hey, take a closer look” and got the attention… making it so that the two were in a team in the first place. A small victory in the early games gave way to massive victories in the end.

Smallant paid to win that hilarious, but he did really well for barely playing the game. It was really cool seeing him improve as the tournament went on and that final strategy he and chat came up with was genius.

I'm going to say it: what Smallant brings to tournaments like this is his sheer patience, tenacity, and tendancy to think up 900IQ plays on the spot. And in this "accidental win", he showed all of those traits.
Sometimes someone just has to play support and when it's done well, like SmallAnt did, then victory is all but guaranteed

Meaning that it isn't guaranteed, but it is close. Kind of like this quote: "Sometimes you can do everything right and still lose."
I love at the beginning they introduced all these high profile gamers. They talked about each players background. When it came down to you, they just said and Smallant with no real introduction. That must of felt like a fu you are not worthy of being here. I admire that you went on and played anyways. Most people in tournaments forget to have fun. You seemed to have fun, which is what made you go on.
Smallant is the best and most experienced person when not using sprint

The introductions actually felt mostly equal, because I feel I learned almost nothing about any of the players other than Kelpsy being a speedrunner. Anyway, good work Smant! That strategy actually does sound pretty genius, props to you, Coney, and chat for making it work!

Okay, but not elaborating at all on Smant was low-key hilarious. It was worth sitting through all those introductions just for that subtle roast.
Finally, the Smallant+DougDoug collab I've been waiting for.
It’s very adorable watchin Smant when someone else is talking. Him just swaying back and forth and making over exaggerated facial expressions to be respectfully quiet but also keep people entertained. Love it.

AHAHAH... Holy... The one that really got finesse here is shoujo.... Damn.... He really did her dirty, and the 5head chat that he had raised really put a sprinkle on top to put this whole thing in the bag.
That was honestly a brilliant strat to put yourself in arguably the most reliably helpful position while complimenting the fact that your teammate was good enough to handle the rest. Brilliant idea that was well worth your share of the prize!

I like how in the intro to all the players everyone else got like a cool scene like what they're doing in the game and Ant was just like yeah and Ant and then they just moved on. It was just so funny that they just like yeah here's Ant
Super underrated tournament style, for content creators you get to keep everyone playing for the entire tournament even if they were "eliminated". You still get rewarded for placing higher in the round robin and it seemed super fun!
I love how they introduced everyone with what qualities they got and with few sentences, but smallant was just: "yeah, and here we got smallant."

Who else can say that they played the Skyrim intro half way through a peggle speed run and filled a room with a bunch of fat Albert posters and turned it into a ball pit. He is one of the most unique streamers there is.

apperantly Smallant did cut out 1 minute footage of them introducing/praising him, for the joke ^^ but still fun :D
“And we have Smallant as well” they just didn’t introduce him and that is the funniest thing ever.
