Ever wonder Why Game of Thrones Was The Best Show Ever Made?
And then ever wonder Why Game of Thrones Was Ruined After Season 8?
It's something that haunts me to this day, sitting in a hotel room watching the series finale of my (at one point) favorite show of all time...
...and being in complete disbelief as to how anybody thought "This Game of Thrones ending is great, right?"
I had given up on Game of Thrones, after seeing the worst season of television (maybe ever, especially in terms of disappointment).
And then we got House of the Dragon, a Game of Thrones prequel that was announced just months after the season finale, which I (and a lot of other fans), had absolute ZERO faith in...
...and yet it surprised me.
House of the Dragon Season 1 was one of the best of the past ten years, and although it might be too early to make a Game of Thrones vs. House of the Dragon video, I think it's safe to say that House of the Dragon Saved The Game of Thrones Legacy...so here is my video essay all about it!

I remember being almost nine months pregnant with my first child when the finale released and was massively upset that I couldn't drink myself to sleep.

nah it’s cool lol ryan said they aren’t going by the books anymore in his interview so no book spoilers or game of thrones spoilers matters g you should watch the interview

I know they go through the whole story in Season 5 (I think), but I've made sure to not rewatch that conversation/recap lol!
1. Battle at Rook's Nest 2.Battle of Gullet (1st major battle) 3.Battle of Honeywine 4. Battle at the Red Fork 5.Fall of King's Landing 6.Butcher's Ball 7.First Battle of Tumbleton (2nd major battle) 8 Battle above the God's Eye (it will break the internet) if this is done right (battle of bastards level of "done right") the bitter taste of the ending of GOT will be washed away.

No, it didnt, it had one critcally acclaimed season as of yet. We shall se if it sticks the landing, and I have my doubts.

Knowing the source material, they would have to fuck up severely for it to not be a hit. It's brutal, dramatic and heartwrenching... Plus dragons. As long as they follow the beats of the history, it's gonna shock and amaze.

If house of the dragon gets finished with maybe like 4-5 seasons, people will definitely prefer it more than game of thrones. Trust..

Don´t get your hopes up people, season 2 will not be as close to the books as season 1 was. Season 1 also missed some very interesting characters that should´ve been able make season 2 shine.

Nah it will never, it will make it's own and it will slowly build to reboot. Got legacy is gone after s8. Actors all did well, all the other workers. Expect the hacks who wrote the damn thing.
