安古蘭馬鞍山中心/安古蘭馬鞍山中心即將在安古蘭地鐵自動運輸!
Yau Tong literal meaning is oil pond, so the station is yellow. Tiu Keng Leng and Fanling are related to hills, so they are green. Olympic is near the sea, so the station is blue. Tsuen Wan West has a similar shade of red as Tsuen Wan because they are both in the same area. The similar concept is used in Sha Tin and Sha Tin Wai stations. Yau Ma Tei station was originally Waterloo Station, which is related to France, therefore the station was red, blue and white in the old days, but later on, China doesn't like it, therefore mtr wiped out the red and blue mosaic and filled them with white instead. Nam Cheong station is named after the nearby Nam Cheong Estate, and the estate's colour theme is pale yellow, therefore, the station is pale yellow. Sham Shui Po is related to water, so it's dark blue-green, similarly, Fo Tan is related to fire, therefore it's orange. There are even more examples that i havent put in the list.

I wasn't going to list every station, but thank you for the extra information!
Yep, and I feel like all of the metro colors actually match each the station color , very unique
Best chanel
You deserve more subs, it's great so see people promoting Hong Kong to the rest of the world!
Thank Roland Paoletti, the original chief architect of the MTR! He subsequently went to London (along with Wilfrid Newton, the MTR chairman at the time) - to build London Underground’s Jubilee Line Extension. Each station was designed by a different architect, guided by Paoletti. The JLE stations are already considered some of the best UK public architecture of the 20th century - despite it only opening in 1999. (Canada Water has a very MTR style - it’s mostly grey mosaic tiling) Paoletti is held up here as the “conductor” who coordinated the magnificent performance on the JLE!

Jordan....its color is bluish green, but I had no clue what matches its surroundings
They need to add a vending machine or stock the info kiosk with station specific keychain. They sell tile and station name keychains, but they are just so hard to find.
