How Himalayan Salt will BOOST your performance as an athlete

Спорт

De-hydration WILL negatively impact your performance as an athlete.
Hydration first thing in the morning after a long nights sleep with zero fluid intake, is one of the most important things you can do to kick start your day.
In this week's video I'll share how I use Himalayan Sea Salts to ensure I'm getting the most out of my body, every single day.

I rode the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route last year. I used Himalayan pink salt exclusively for electrolyte sublimation for 60 days. I never cramped once, which is unusual for me. Needless to say I'm a big fan. Way cheaper then fancy commercial mixes. Thanks for the tip about use it first thing in the morning, I'll start that today

Hell yeh! I swear by it. Some seem to think it ‘doesn’t work’ but that’s ok, I’m certainly a convert! Hope it works just as well for you too 👌🏽👌🏽

That's a nice tip. I had on all my long distance races like TCR a small Himalayan Salt stone with me. Especially on hot days I lick on it regularly.

Mt. Everest used to be under water millions of years ago. This perhaps could be why this Himalayan salt contains valuable micronutrients. Since most human sleep cycles are about 90 minutes in length, what do you think of the possible paradox that sleeping 7.5 hours (5 x 90 minutes) is actually more beneficial than sleeping 8 hours, since you do not awaken in the middle of a sleep cycle? Cristiano Ronaldo sleeps 5 separate times per day at 90 minutes each, which is a fascinating fact. Thank you so much for the helpful videos.

Very good point indeed mate! I’ve never tried the sleep cycle stuff before, but it sounds interesting. I might increase my sleep to 9hr instead, just to be safe! Haha 🥱😴

As far as I know, himalayan sea salt is just bro science and marketing. The mineral content is negligible since you are only consuming a tiny amount of it and good quality "regular" salts contain some of them, too. But hey, if it has a placebo effect on you, then why not go for it. It's not expensive enough to be a scam. Hydration is definitely important in the morning.

Could well be, but I definitely find it works for me and helps to offset the diuretic effects of coffee first thing in the AM and the lack of fluid throughout the night. Hydration is key in the performance equation IMO 🙌🏽🙌🏽
