The best part is, yes, you can buy the super credits to buy the premium pass, but the thing is, you can earn them rather easily in the free warbond pass and even loot them in missions, its fucking amazing. And the fact that they are permanent too so you dont have to stressfully grind through it in a time perioud, just… *chefs kiss*

That's not a good thing. Having pay-to-skip-gameplay is an intrinsically bad system because it means the developer is incentivized to create long grinds to coerce you into paying to skip them. A $40 game should *not* have microtransactions (unless they're purely cosmetic virtual tip jars like DRG's DLCs).

I haven't liked many fps games in the past, typically I stuck to racing or creative games like Minecraft. This game, however, has a chokehold on my attention and is a blast to play! I think a good part of it is being pve rather than pvp, and it's all the more fun because of it. The fact that the community is all working together rather than against one another I feel is a massive part in its popularity and success. All the fun without any of the toxicity, with Joal there to make sure it stays challenging and engaging!

In addition, pressing melee button/M4 changes the camera view from right side to left side when ADS'ing in third person, which helps when taking cover

Helldivers 2 is a game that you can play and not get harassed by the entire thing. You hop in and learn the bare basics in the tutorial and then you go on an trival difficulty dive (If you don’t pick Automatons) where you can easily get the game’s mechanics. Yet the game barely steps in, you learn from yourself or let another Helldiver take lead and learn from them. Everything in the game can be yours, sure there is micro transactions but the content at this moment isn’t even worth it which makes sense, you can easily rack up Super Credits not only buying them for free in bulk in the war bonds but finding them around the map which all adds up. The grind is probably the least tedious grind I’ve seen in five years Lastly the game is fun, it’s engaging and expansive with the different stuff you do however it also can get extremely stressful and chaotic whenever you pick higher difficulties or decide to go to the Automaton faction which is great, you can play whatever level you want until you are ready for the next step, the game never pushes you as you only push yourself
