I enjoy the training videos, I am more of a mortal kombat player myself, but it is good to watch experts of other fighting games explain how mechanics and combat works. I feel like it helps me with my gameplay, along with aris being a genuinely great person who has the time and patience to do all of it and answer questions, from beginner to expert

Following the screw/tailspin extension from 3+4, it's also possible to do a f+4 before junkyard DSS f+4. Another option following the screw is f+4 u+3 4,3 DSS f+4. Both would do 77 and 80 damage respectively, but they are not considered optimal.

Godly the way how as soon as aris said he should start playing law out pops a tag on the screen leading to a video playing law. Mindblown.

Been practicing this for 3 years now. It's easy in practice mode but in the heat of the moment it takes even more time to get it to work

@@bertoldopleari7779 optimal combo is 3+4,4 -> dash -> f4 -> b2(delay),3,4 -> DSS f4. The delay after b2 when doing junkyard is to ensure that the opponent flies higher after the junkyard in order to guarantee that legend kick ender connects. With a little practice, the timing becomes natural and the combo is reliable. There’s also 3+4,4 -> dash -> f4u3 -> f4,3 -> DSS F4 for 2 dmg more but it’s a whole deal more difficult

when you do the WS+4, DFC cancel, the f to cancel the DFS has to be immediately after law recovers from the WS+4, then a neutral of a fraction of a second and then the 3+4 so WS+4, b,f~f~N~3+4 and to clarify, DSS is when u press d+1+2 or after some moves like 1,2,b~f, DFS is the one that Law walks backwards, like WS+3 thats why in DFS u need to press f to enter DSS if u do it kinda off time, law would do some bouncy steps back, if u do correctly, law would do like 2 firm steps back

Damn it’s weird I figured out this combo on my own , I noticed the triple kicks ALWYAS launch players and ALWYAS hit people that duck

I think RIP uses that as threat everytime with his dragon hammer I mean, the basic use of the dragon hammer is to use the magic 4 which is an 11 frame high The more advanced way is to go into crouch after the hammer then do WS 4 then 3+4. Rip does WS 4 a lot from hammer so I think he does it alot to hit confirm into 3+4 on CH

Back on the frame it hits, foward 3+4 on the same frame

Before I hop into online, I always go to practice mode for about 30 minutes to warm up. I still suck though

I just started playing again. I played since tekken 3, tag, tekken4, tekken5 and very little tag2. It's kinda funny but I live in Houston and I was very close to entering the texasshowdown2018. I had a pool tournament, so couldn't go. I don't know a lot of the big names but I use to dominate in Ga., in the old school arcades back in the 90s. I play law, Paul, king, and a little of each Mishima family; a little yoshi too. I'm using my son's call but message me, I'd like to play a couple of games to see if I still got it.

You can still block unless it's a CH. There's a few things like this: Kings f, F+1 is +14 on normal hit but they can still block.

Ok can we just agree on one thing so that we don't end up on each other's throats as a community. How about some middleground Law is an easy to control hard to master character that has an almost immaculate punish and counterhit game because of how fast his moves are and how many choices he has at every frame thus making him spammy and cheap in the eyes of many but struggles to close distance thus forcing Law to be reckless and risky when opponents play keep away and punish. He also has one of the best but hardest stance transitions in the game There. Ya happy now? Can both defenders and attackers of the law chill now? To those that can't see the pros and cons together instead of just one side, may you eat a junkyard 99% of your games
