@Berley_1234 better OL play than last season yes... good thing is unless you're a UGA fan, and if you are then I tip my hat because they did in fact win... but if you're a ditch lizard or a Convict U fan, then it doesn't matter if our running game improves from last year... both teams in serious decline and will be rebooting their rebuilds w/ new coaches next year🎯💯🤣

His stats are near identical to Travis and the team is the deepest it has ever been under Norvell so 12-0 is well within reach again

This was a good video! I think JD should've mentioned the possibility of H. William because if he takes the next step he'll be one of the best WRs in college football. I love JDs videos I think they're unbiased and realistic. In a time where FSU just got screwed to fight for a championship, it's very refreshing.

People outside FSU need to worry about DJ not necessarily because of DJ but because if he happens to have that miracle season, it going to be one more feather in Norvell's cap where he proves that he can out coach the rest and get the most out of a player when other "programs" couldn't.

If DJU was given the tools to succeed at Clemson, which he wasn’t, Clemson would have been in the playoffs and DJU would have been a top 3 Heisman guy in 2022. The offense simply wasn’t there and didn’t even give DJU a CHANCE to succeed. That 2021 Notre Dame game where DJU went off is who he actually is. Look at what DJU did at Oregon State too- that wasn’t a fluke. DJU is an NFL-worthy QB if given a good supporting cast, and people who think otherwise are delusional. He just is. He has the fundamentals. Dabo hiring from within instead of an ACTUAL OC damaged DJU’s career more than anything else, and now we at Clemson are stuck with Cade Klubik, a guy who has shown absolutely no improvement over the last year and a half. Cade was the second best QB during spring game, a walk-on named Trent Pearman was the best. LOL. Cade was kick-ass in high school football when he was the best person on the field against 15 year old freshmen, but in the big leagues with equal competition against him he simply isn’t cut out for the competition- at least to this point. I PRAY that changes. DJU had some problems (mostly out of his control) but he’s ten times better and had more potential than Cade does. I wish DJU well, but *only* as long as Clemson beats FSU. GO TIGERS, ALL IN😀

It's cool that you still speak highly of him being a Clemson fan and knowing he's playing against you guys. I hope Clemson and FSU both land in the BIG 10 and continue this rivalry.

I hear the same thing from every media outlet when it comes to projecting FSU's 2024 season. Because FSU went 13-1 in 2023, there's an assumption they will be good in 2024. I just think it's lazy reporting. Does the media actually look at the roster? FSU lost a lot of proven players at the skilled positions. 10 players from the 2023 roster were drafted into the NFL. 80% of the 2023 offensive production is gone. For the 2024 season, Norvell brought in a bunch of transfers who may be talented, but have little to no college game experience. This is very different from the experienced transfers he brought in the previous 2 seasons. I don't know how you project unproven players into wins on Saturdays. What you are telling me is that FSU has replacement players who are as good as the 2023 players they lost. So, DJ U >= Jordan Travis. Roydell Williams >= Trey Benson. Any TE >= Jaheim Bell. Any WR >= Keon Coleman. Any WR >= Johnny Wilson. Marvin Jones Jr. >= Jared Verse. Any DT >= Braden Fiske. The 2024 FSU WR room had a total of 57 catches in 2023. That's including the production of all the transfer WRs at their previous schools. The only skilled players with significant experience on offense are DJ U and Lawrence Toafili. What is the basis for projecting such optimism for this team? It isn't game film. There is none for most of the transfers and we saw the 2023 FSU backups get destroyed in the Orange Bowl 63-3 by UGA. FSU has a bunch of unproven, inexperienced players they will be relying on to make significant contributions this season. Mark my word. The media will have FSU hyped up in the top 10 week 1 of college football. Actually, it will be week 0 when they play GT in Dublin. I just don't get it. There is very little experience and production on the FSU roster to warrant them as one of the favorites to win the ACC. It's all conjecture based on the 2023 season. Certainly not in the preseason before a game is played.

Everyone wants to talk only about Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence but NEVER wanna bring up the elite caliber NFL talent that surrounded them especially at the wr position: Mike Williams, Hunter Renfrew, Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross, Amari Rogers and the all time ACC rb Travis Etienne 🤦🏽 and don't forget that elite offensive line and elite defense! The team that DJ and Cade Klubnick that was handed to them is nowhere NEAR the level of those teams nor is the coaching staff close to Brent Venables and Tony Elliott.

Basically every sports book in Vegas has DJ as top 20 guy for Heisman odds. Norvell, sports journalist, Vegas, etc. all see Cam as the player with the higher ceiling. I agree. Doesn’t mean that DJ is far behind, or that he can’t do amazing things for FSU.
