That's a good comparison. Both never played on the biggest stage because they came from a small countries. They were never as great as they could have been because of the love of partying. Both were great wingers. The biggest difference was Best was at a big club in Man United and Magico was at a modest club in Cadiz.

@@B8kedBean Best never played in a World Cup. He did play, and score in the European Cup Final in 1968, and won the Ballon d'Or that year. Gonzalez played in the 1982 World Cup.

He was beyond good. He was amazing!!

Just sad a lot of the world never heard of him, he is the greatest player to El Salvador and a few who know a lot about futbol.

Herson Edenilson ...es verdad....yo lo vi jugar en persona. En el Mateo Flores recuerdo estaba sentado Jorge en una pelota y entro d recambio sin hacer calistenias....A media cancha por uno de los bordes laterales tomo la pelota en velocidad...dos jugadores de la Seleccion de Guatemala lo siguieron para pararlo o barrerlo...de repente Jorge paro el balon y los dos jugadores chocaron uno contra el otro...se vio chistoso pues con los talones levanto el balon y lo avento adelante y siguio con la pelota y los defensores como q por un momento no sabian, como dicen los magos..."Donde quedo la bolita"? La gente misma de Guate lo aplaudieron. Yo nunca he visto a nadie hacer esa jugada...solamente a Pele en un video. En mi pais le llaman a esa jugada "la bicicleta" es realmente dificil hacerla con velocidad.
