I was a freshman in 2016, a fairly decent player too. All I know is I’ve never seen more hype for a team and never seen such a dominant team in my life. The fact that they had two freshman starting was crazy and the other crazy part was that it was 3 brothers all playing together. You can easily argue that this is pound for pound the greatest team in high school basketball history, no recruiting and none of that goofy transfer shit, just straight up home grown talent. Also you can say what you want about Lavar but at the end of they day he got his boys paid and made some money himself, took advantage of the spot light and set their family up with generational wealth.

Jxmyhighroller video about this team really does breakdown why this team was the GOAT. Unlike OakHill or Monteverde, which are private schools that recruit heavily, Chino Hills is a public school that was only good when the Ball Brothers were around.

What's not emphasized here is this was a regular ole public school that didn't recruit and was beating private schools who recruited nationally. One thing is for certain there will never be a better public school... ever.....

It does seem like Lemalo and lonzo can get traded to the lakers and thats thier biggest chance of getting a championship in the NBA but lavar ball might want all of his sons togther at the same team to win togther a championship but it might be a problom from leangelo ball because he is in the G league.

Abusive dad who subjected his kids' bodies to unbelievable stress when their bones and muscles were still developing. Even dads who played in the nba didn't push their kids like this. Look at their injury history now. Oh well, at least they have the cash to pay for the surgeries.

@@timeoutdrew6491 Yes they like to play and it's good that he's encouraging them to follow their dreams but his parenting style is "my way or the highway". Just look at their training videos. It's all him or a yes man assistant. You need actual coaches and professional trainers, not some "back in my day" experience and quacky conditioning methods. Notice that he backed the f away once they were in the NBA where real health care professionals and trainers would be able to point out his errors. He also pulled his kids out of school and leagues if things are not going his way without giving a damn what they want.
