Hello everyone, I hope this comment finds you well in spite of the current problems. This is certainly a difficult time for many, many people and at the beginning I was unsure if it is a good idea to release travel videos, when people die, healthcare systems are running at their limit, cities on lockdown, planes are stored, jobs are lost and many other implications become visible. I don't want to be insensitive and the message from my videos is NOT to travel now. It is to stay home and once this wave is over, we can travel again. However, I don't think it is wrong to dream about destinations, flights and trains. This is also what the community survey that I initiated suggests. For this reason, I will continue to release my travelmentaries. Please note that this is not the typical travelmentary. I mainly produced it to test out new camera gear I haven't worked with before as well as amendments to my editing process and new animation technology, that I may or may not continue to use in other travelmentaries. So it's kind of a testbed for that, but I hope you enjoy the video anyway. Thank you for your support and stay healthy! Christian from travelmentary TV

Very good video with a lot more information than many channels offer. I like to see the journey to the airport, details about the airport, the fares on offer, the full takeoff and some sight-seeing. I strongly dislike 'fast-forward' video segments and business/first class flights as well as their associated lounge reviews. I hope we will all be flying again soon.

Of course it‘s impossible to make videos that fit taste of each and every viewer, but comments as yours are important, because they give me a hint on which content I could add in future. Seems that economy class trip reports might be interesting, too, so hopefully I‘ll be able to produce some more of them. However, I my main focus will probably remain on business class/first class products. Have a great day, stay healthy and yes, let‘s hope planes will fly again soon!

@@travelmentaryTV Just to clarify, my aversion to business/first class reviews applies less to rail travel than air. Very often with rail companies it is possible to obtain 1st class for little more than standard class so it is indeed interesting to know whether the additional cost is worthwhile. With airlines the price difference is often huge and out of reach for the vast majority of travellers. You would restrict your audience by focusing on premium services as well I would have thought.

Hi again, I don‘t think Business or First Class is entirely out of reach. You just have to be flexible with destinations and flight dates, then you can get pretty acceptable rates. Another option is to collect miles via frequent flyer programs. That way I rarely pay the regular price. It is worth mentioning that one can get a significant amount of miles not only for flying, but also hotel stays, using specific credit cards and so on. Interestingly, business class flight reports seem to be watched more than those showing economy products, at least that‘s the case on this channel. From a practical standpoint I find economy class flight reports more difficult to film, because unless you’re lucky or you have a travel companion, there is usually somebody sitting next to you that may disapprove what you’re doing. However, I will try to show some more economy class flight reports, too.

I must share my experience of a small airport. I had gone to pee at Linz Airport in Upper Austria. By the time I reached the luggage belt my bag was gone and it took a while to appear again on the belt. When I picked my bag and walked out of the Airport to pick a taxi, I realised all taxis were gone :)

Haha, nice story! That can happen, but Linz is a really tiny airport, even smaller than Vigo!

Kamal Jonwal I can imagine Fiji must be something special! Hopefully I can go there one day. Yes, I’m working on several videos at this moment. I takes time to edit them due to all the research and the animations, but I hope you will enjoy them, once they’re ready.
