Another counter that no one seems to be considering is Zombie World, as long as your deck doesn't care about types. Bident Dragion, Transcend Dragion, and Trident Dragion all require dragons as materials. Bident can't target a dragon in grave, Green can't target a dragon in grave, and Red can't use its hand eff to summon if Zombie World is active.

It's a good counter but u can't only bet on zombie world, because Tenpai plays so much handtraps (to prevent u from add zombie world) and plays 2 lightning storms and a feather duster. But yeah zombie world sucks

Also the tempai dragons I believe got renamed for the TCG to Chundra, Paidra and Fadra

Tenpai Dragons is the Synchro/Fire version of my favorite deck, Galaxy-Eyes. With the new support coming for Galaxy-Eyes I am so happy to be playing both decks. Also I am super glad I kept all my OG cards including 3 copies of heat wave😄

Honestly the Tenpai deck feels like a modern version of Dinos. The field spell helping protect your plays and the decks crazy power to OTK your opponent feels very similar.

The yubel matchup is really only solved through the lv10 synchro destroying the yubel monster in the battle phase. The Samurai synchro won’t work as neither nightmare pain’s effect or yubel’s effects activate. They’re continuous. Either way, I still think Tenpai will be pretty ridiculous if it can figure out what to do about its going 1st problem.

I like it for the simple fact rhat going second is rarely good. The way this deck works is a bit over the top and maybe unfair but i like it on principle and concept alone.

the deck doesn't have to wait, it can otk under shifter+ property still

against yubel if you have all your dragons on field white red green you do not take battle dmg either and if you can get to the synchro 10 dragon they cant do anything in battle phase any way

Pure. And up to 24 hand traps and or board breakers. You can do 37k damage in 1 battle phase. Even with Prosperity you can still 18k damage

Just realized that PK can probably beat this deck since Fog Blade negates the affect of any of these Tenpai Dragons and makes them unable to attack.

The problem is all 3 of them have the quick synchro effect. So unless you have all 3 fog blades set you're still screwed

They built this deck to say "oh you wanted a going second deck here's a POS that's gonna make people question playing yugioh see you next banlist when we don't hit it". Oh well time to crack out my Invoked Runick deck lol.

The ocg uses 2 striker in their tenpai dragon decks. But in the tcg striker is at 1 will that impact its viability? Idk

because it negates the effect, and not the activation. There are very limited cards that can activate in damage step. For example, if your opponent uses the effect of Green at the start of damage step, to revive red, you can use Ghost Belle because it negates activation

Tempi dragon looks overpowered escpecially the new support in infinite forbidden. WHo in konami thought then needed a poplar not to mention a trap card that just ENDS the main phase. Definitely a meta contender. 9.99K Nearly there mate....... 😃

It’s very fair. You just gotta think your way out of their win con, like any other deck. The only decks that are considered unfair are decks that prevent you being able to legally activate any card with any opening hand.

It's actually very fair. You are more prone to brick with the deck and if you force them to go first there isn't too much to they can put up that you wouldn't be able to play through. Pair that with having 1-2 interruptions and you basically win the game so long as you hit choke points. Needless to say, I'm definitely playing 22 HTs and will enjoy blasting people away even through prosperity :)

Kaiser Colosseum is banned in TCG so it’s not as good going 1st but the Rokket brew might make it decent going first
