There was frustration with his inability to play the ball forward last year and he actually had a falling out with his winger, Mudryk, who would get visibly frustrated making runs forward only to have Cucurella pivot and send it back to CB or sideways to Enzo. I even remember Potter throwing up his hands in frustration because Cucurella just seemed to lack confidence to play the ball forward. Once Ben Chilwell came back into the side, it was a little shocking seeing how much more dynamic Chilwell was.

i disagree with the latter half - chilwell is probably far worse at any kind of meaningful build up . Chilwell's best attribute in defensive/middle third is that he knows his own limitations and doesn't bother trying to do anything unorthodox b/c he knows he can't.

I love Lisandro but I think a left side of him and Cucu lacks ball carrying, which IMO would make it awkward at times. Anyways it doesn’t look like it’s happening now. Really Utd should consider using Licha at LB An day buying another CB in the future

As someone who watches every minute of him last season his best and worst attribute is his overenthusiasm in chasing down the ball. Most times he'd fly out of position across the pitch when he shouldn't leaving the right flank completely empty for the opposition. Appalling signing, only had one good game for us against Dortmund

I already mentioned this. It’s simply a case of higher standards expected from LCB and LWB and his weaknesses which were not picked up during his time at Brighton but should have been came to the fore at Chelsea.
