Hey buds, I wanted to get a quick analysis video up during a busy work week, so this video may not be as polished as my others. I already noticed a couple small mistakes while watching it here. Gouging Fire giving a Guts Facade mon the ability to hold an item other than Flame Orb without having to rely on Will o' Wisp is honestly based.

You did a pretty good job of mentioning doubles, except on Upper Hand. With the amount of Prankster Tailwinds being thrown around, and Upper Hand stopping them completely, it has real potential in VGC if a good Pokemon can fit it on it's moveset

I didn’t think of that. If it stops prankster status moves like tailwind that’s actually pretty useful. Sucks though most prankster mons resist fighting like Whimsi, Thundurus, and Sableye.

Oh that last new move is even better with the pokemon. It's ability is confusing It's target when the target gets poisoned. So not only is it using a base 100 attack, it has a 50% chance to badly poison and confuse at the same time

Entei still cant learn Earthquake. Meanwhile his old man did get it. Kinda miffed my boy Houndoom (a HELLHOUND) didnt get scorching sands like who knows how many other Fire Types did. Instead it got Temper Flare... Only L. Howl,Trailblaze, Temper Flare, sucker punch. I will cook, even if its the last thing I ever do

The fact that electro shot is 100% accurate is insane, cause look at the only other move that gives a stat boost when charging.Its so stupid good, that i kinda hate how good it is, Its like if Solar Beam and Meteor Beam had a child and it was that perfect kid that can never do any wrong. Literally only has good traits for a pokemon move, very strong BP, 100% accurate that- this by itself already looks like flare blitz and the like without the recoil drawback, but this is where the good part of solar beam kicks in. Instant charge in rain.

@@luawidi its just a 130 bp normal type attack, normal hits nothing super effectively. Rock may not be the best offensive type, but it supplements that with the actually synergistic +1 special attack raise. This move existing made some mons that got it become more reliable sweepers than Skull bash has done for any mon. But again i ask, show one good set of any mon with Skull Bash, that would do good in OU.

I think temper flare would be great with focus blast on blaziken

Almost guaranteed to get the boost after using Focus Blast

Now that Electro Shot is basically a combination of Solar Beam/Blade and Meteor Beam. Would it be too broken if Meteor Beam was allowed to skip the charging turn if it's used during a Sandstorm and Solar Beam/Blade should grant +1 SpA/Atk respectively during the charging turn?

It feels like upper hand was designed to style on kingambit

There is a alternative universe where a paradox of Incinaroar exists and has a move that drops atk and sp atk harshly if the target uses a non-attacking move

Shaming the opponent for breaking the keyfabe

One thing to note about Hard Press, it is good move for Steel type Pokemon that has priority moves like Metagross who has Bullet Punch. The move can deal super effective damage, and you can get stab from it. If you didn't get to OHKO it, you can finish it of with Bullet Punch.

It could be usable. Although I think Meteor Mash or its newly acquired Heavy Slam are better choices.

bro with burning bull work you can copy it to Smeargle sketch move it can learn burning bullwork which will be op in doubles.

You know what would've actually been good? That now that we are officially in Unova, the Low Health music played when our pokemon was weak.

Spore is a move exclusive to mushroom pokemon because spores are from mushrooms Hydrapple gets regenerator because it's based on a hydra, and if you cut off one of its heads it can regenerate and grow 2 more

Blunder Policy Supercell Slam could be viable.

That Temper Flame basically gives Houndoom or Flareon a Fire Punch level move since they can't make a fist anyway.

Yeah it’s a solid option if Flareon doesn’t wanna KO itself on Flare Blitz recoil but you would probably have to forgo Flame Charge in that case.

Upper hand is gonna be huge in doubles. Knowing that your opponent can have a priority move and you can save a potential sweeper from a priority move hitting it so it can get one last big hit off is massive. Plus fake out is everywhere and it can shut it down. On top of that and more importantly, PRANKSTER is everywhere and this shuts down prankster priority tailwinds, taunts, and weather change moves

Burning bulwark would work better if it was more like kings sheild.

Cowards should have given Toxtricity alluring voice as punk rock would have gotten a nice boost and some viability
