Thank you for posting this. I know I am not the only one but I literally had never heard anyone else disclose these feelings that reflect my own. It feels amazing to listen to your journey and that the feelings of pride and refusing to let go of that control passes and happiness is possible. That a burnout may be god saying slow down and look around. I know my priorities became shuffled. I just need to let go and see the blessings I have now 😅

@@mydearoldworld Thank you!! I don’t even know why but today my KZread was in a different language and when I found any English videos, yours was one of the two I saw. The cover image is beautiful. It drew me in and your voice is captivating. It rings with a kindness, a sweet empathetic calm that soothed my soul this morning. My whole being has not felt that kind of safe in years. Part of my journey includes ptsd so I couldn’t thank you enough nor the heavens and our lord for aligning my morning as it was. I know it can be scary to bare one’s soul but I am so grateful you made this video! Universities are plagued with mantras like you can sleep when your dead. I even had a professor offer me drugs because “premed is hard”. Smh. Please don’t stop making videos. I consider myself blessed to have crossed paths with your channel and would love to hear more as I know my journey is not over!! Nowhere near! Thank you, again. So much! 🤍

Thank you so much for posting 🤗. I am so grateful that you have found the Lord God Almighty in such a profound way so early in your life. Your channel is a blessing to any believer but specifically other women and specifically the younger generation who do not have the best role models. I myself am turning 45 within months and although I have been a born again follower of Christ Jesus I had to learn a lot the hard way, today I can say with confidence how the Lord God Almighty is a truly merciful Father and that He has raised me up despite many setbacks. Today I can testify of how He turns around whatever was meant for destruction in my life, He has turned it into something positive. The Lord God Almighty is Holy, worthy of honour and praise and all the glory belongs to Him, forever and ever. May you continue to grow and deepen your relationship with the Father in the Name of Jesus, may He reveal Himself to you continually in new ways in order for to grow in faith. Please read Matthew 24? Put all your trust in the Lord God Almighty and seek His Kingdom above all else. Blessings to you 🤗.

What a lovely channel! This really encouraged me, thank you for sharing it. I'm feeling overwhelmed with my career and the desire to be a homemaker pulls at me, but I'm not in a place to be able to do it as I'd like. I've been getting closer to the LORD and have been feeling more peaceful. I'm so happy for you that you found such joy in your homemaking and have been healed of the burnout! Hey Siddarth Rastogi :) Thanks for commenting! Yes I do believe in Jesus. I believe that God came in flesh in Jesus Christ, so that we could have right relationship with God. I believe that God created humans, and he chose to give us to the choice to live in God's path (which is the definition of all things good and right and true as He is those things) or choose our own way, choosing selfishness, pride, violence, jealousy, rage, etc (sin). But we chose our own way, so God had to send his Son to take the place that we deserved. When Jesus died, he made it possible for us to have right relationship with God, to live in accordance to God's way, and to have eternal life. I believe in Jesus because I know that I don't have the power on my own to make myself acceptable before God. By putting my faith in Christ, and what he achieved on the cross, I am recognising that I am unworthy of right relationship with God because of my sins, but that that worthiness is imparted to me through Jesus' death. God gives us the holy spirit to be a guide to discern His will when we profess our faith in Christ. As I partner with the holy spirit, I can be more loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled for God's glory. If that’s not quite what you were asking, or you have any other questions, I’m very happy to discuss in the comments :) I am honest about my personal faith in Christ but acknowledge that I cannot make that decision for anyone else but myself 🙂 Blessings, Jemma ❤

Very inspirational story. I feel somewhat lost and I am contemplating about how to move on as my 37th birthday mark is approaching. I feel need for a change but I am unsure what that change is. Thank you for inspiration!🫶🏻🙂
