Looking at Gozer's expression/body language I get the sense Gozer was kind of mocking their last encounter. Winston even says "I think she remembers us" so it definitely wasn't going to work the second time bc Gozer remembers them

I always thought that if Ray had said yes, Gozer would've said "Then, prove it!" and everything would have happened the same way as before.

I looked it up, and there was a part in IDW's Ghostbusters where, while having a dream, Gozer asked Ray the question again. Ray said yes that time, only for Gozer to call him out for lying and starting attacking him. Ray in turn complained that there is no right answer to that question. 😆

The muon trap isn't capable of trapping a class 7 entity like gozer unless his PKE was severely depleted, and even then it can't be kept in the ECU without contaminating the other entities and resulting in a PKE overload that would cause a containment breach

Never understood the “crossing the streams” issue. The output was so chaotic just trying to catch a ghost had a high probability of crossing the streams.

I just rewatched both movies earlier this week (tv marathon) and thought the same thing about the Thorazine. It was super creepy that he had that ready to go.

Ghoe Fakyerself He doesn't, just made gurgles, and guttural noises.... and screams. Slimer didnt get a "voice" until the cartoon and that wasnt until they tried to market him as a childrens toy. In the cartoon he maintained the gurgles and guttural noises but they sounded more like words. Then they retooled the show as "Slimer and the real Ghostbusters" giving him a more active role and small little slimer shorts with him having an inept doctor trying to capture him al a Roadrunner/WileECoyote so they gave him a voice which was more like a high pitched mumble.
