Yes the problem with cannibalism isnt the cannibalism itself, but the fact the game makes it where deinos have to to survive. Many dont want to have to fight the first deino they see, but rather team up, but the game makes it to where you have to because theres literally nothing else in the water to eat, not even fish a lot of time.

Yeah exactly, it should be a choice, as some players like playing as cannibals and some don't, but it's a little forced now

I agree about adding more fish, especially liked the idea of a large fish that would attack you. Just makes things more interesting

I believe the deinocheirus should be the next semi-aquatic added to the game. We already have a huge roster of playable carnivores in comparison to the few large herbs/omnivores people play. It would just be awesome to see a big swamp duck slap deino's out of the way and see them chilling in the swamps with duckweed covering their feathers/fluff.

@@ucjgaming as far as I know it’s still in concept stage. We got the offical announcement of the art and that it would be added as a apex omnivore all the way back in 2021. Just isle things. Sadly huuuuuuu

I think one of the main issues with deino is the lack of mobility with them all the rivers are separated by land making everyone not want to even move around which is made worse by the fact everyone just spawns in ne

These longer vids are very enjoyable, nice to have something to watch while gaming or eating where u don'T have to find a new vid within 11mins

It was more fun of spiro, when ppl actually had to risk drinking, gateway completely fucked deino over regarding how it just has 2 spawn areas, the rivers are far away from each other, theres tons of safe ponds and even more safe shallow spots and that land rats can now even see deinos eyes underwater Deino is no fun when its almost impossible for u to catch anything

Yeah it is a lot harder now, you have to also cannibalize more now

4:30 If we can choose animals only from the mesozoic period we are kind of limited with the options. We already have a deino and beipy so no more crocos and small dinos like Halszkaraptor etc (for now). Most people want some kind of Spinosaur which isnt a bad idea. The Isle could take a page from Beasts of Bermuda and add Lurdursaurus which paleontologists think was Semiaquatic due to some traits that suggest a semiaquatic lifestyle.

@@ucjgaming From what i know The Isle contains only Dinosaurs, 2 Pterosaurs (an ai and playable) and a Crocodilian (Deinosuchus). If we exclude humans and other modern species in ai form, we find out that The Isle contains only Mesozoic species, if i recall correctly they wanted to add Titanoboa which would change things, but for now it has Mesozoic species only.

LMAO the struggle of getting an elite fish while being a juvi deino. That glitch only happened after the update. Along with the AI crashing the servers every 5 min.

@@ucjgaming yep the devs finally listened about the scarcity of AI on the map and they cranked the ai spawn to 12 outta 10. Servers would only last 30-45 seconds because the server would get bombarded with ai spawn. The most comical was the bullfrogs. They would spawn in by the hundreds

Around 8:52 when you were talking about night vision, those who say its to dark and complain actually might have reason to complain when they know about night vision. Theres a night vision glitch going around that makes your night vision nearly PITCH BLACK, as you cannot see anything besides whats a couple feet in front of you. Me, along side a couple friends all had to fix ours, because of this. (The fix was decently complicated) Although now that it is fixed i have no complaints about the night vision because at least im not blind. XD

@@ucjgaming If everything isn't outlined underwater for deino night vision then you have the glitch. That's the best way to tell. Im happy to help you fix it though if you need to. :)

Sometimes when i get the resting or drink bug. some combination of going in/underwater and attacking fixes it.

Nice video! I’ve honestly just been staying away from deino, cause I figured if there is no ai on land- there sure won’t be in the water. Not to mention all the water pools that are not so easily accessible to drinks, which is where a majority would rather drink from. I honestly love playing on foreign lands, since I normally can find SOMETHING to eat there. Idk who, but I was a dilo chilling on the beach, debating on killing myself so I can become a herra and eat my body. When all of a sudden a giant croc tp’d to me and slayed themselves XD gave me such a scare! But I sure appreciated the food ;D

Yeah Bary and sucho could fight back and even in rare cases win, depending on the players at hand of course. But ultimately yes, spino would be the only opposition for deino

Played deino for 8 hours so far. I've seen 1 other player (server had 145 people on it). Most of the time I had 0 diet because there was no elite fish at all. Which seem to be broken I guess. I found 1 school of fish. I was living off boar and bones. Only made it to 50% growth in 8 hours because I was -25% grow rate for most of it lol. SO painful. Night time sucks now. Stamana regen sucks now. There is to much water on the map. To many safe crossings and drinking spots now. I don't like it. As a deino main. Will be interesting to see where their development goes on this one. I might have to just play something else till things change, if they change. This is my experience mind you, not everyone elses.

Hopefully you'll have better experiences. I only played it so far this once, and it was fun but also a bit draining for the same reasons as yours

How do you keep dying to a hacker each time you get full grown? I haven't seen a hacker yet at all. Maybe try unofficial servers as they actually have admins that can ban hackers if your issue truly is this devastating

I believe you can do it!

Dieno is the worst dino in the roster. It is so big nothing cam compete (except stego if croc on land) and if you get caught you are 100% dead. There is nothing more boring to die from than a dieno. A stego in this roster is very big and powerful but also very slow and crappy stamina so it cant really do anything to you unless you attack it. I'd much rather have any typ of bigger dino in the game than a dieno since if it were a Rex for example atleast you would be able to maybe run or hide or even have a fighting chance. My opinion is: Burn all dienos!
