    There is nothing wrong with parties on one side putting forward candidates in a strategic manner. It is not illegal, in fact, it is sensible. Only 33% voted for the right, that isn't taking away people's right to vote for who they wish.

Just as Castro/Trudeau is doing in Canada and as Aherne was doing in NZ till they had the sense to throw her out. The Indian/Irish Teashop is another one of Schwab's protegees and it shows. I dare say Sunak is a follower too. There's plenty of evidence to suggest it.     No. An alliance of parties won, centrists, some moderate , some far left, etc. When the coalition forms it's likely the hard left will be dropped so Melenchon won't be PM. There's not enough support for a far left PM The coalition will be pretty mixed.

    I'm left of centre but even I can see they are building a rightwing monster by endlessly ignoring the views of right leaning citizens. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction and this is not good. Same in the UK. The left is actively building the support of the right and they can't see it.

    They actually did better than any other party: RN got 10.1 million votes, the Left bloc 7 million, and Macron's centrists 6.6 million - just unfortunately not in constituencies where it mattered to change the outcome

    Simple fact: in the second round Mélenchon’s Left Alliance lost 2.4% in vote share while RN’s share increased by 3.8%. Whatever your views on the policies of the various factions, that is what happened. In the UK election Reform achieved 14% of the vote and got 5 seats.

    I guess Farage was "stopped" too, since Reform didn't get a lot of seats. But it got to a massive vote from nowhere and the Conservative party may be mortally wounded so spinning it as a loss takes a lot of spinning. Same for LePen, whose vote massively increased. Saying a surge has been stopped when it is actually making so much progress is blatant gaslighting.
