The most common mistake everyone does is to judge socialism or an established socialist society, is by the economic progress of that society. What is not understood is that even in a socialist society there can be poverty due to many reasons like economic embargo, famine, lack of natural resources, war etc. If there is poverty everyone has it equally unlike in capitalism poverty is an opportunity for capitalists to exploit the poor and make money ! This is not the case in socialist society. Wealth is equally distributed so also poverty ! Basically the primary aim of socialism is to eliminate exploitation of man by man and in this process economic prosperity will follow ! The capitalist class will not allow this as it goes against their interest. Of course, this is in Short. It requires deeper elaboration to understand deeply and get convinced. Ultimately, whatever may be the economic condition of Cuba, that they have put an end to exploitation man by man is a great achievement !

If there is conformity there will be prosperity on all fields.

Throughout the ages men have given up "royal lineage" and riches to be of service to the less fortunate and oppressed, in this age, the oppressors call them "dictators", because they don't fall in line with the oppressors dictates, like the shah of Iran, Somosa or Pinochet and those that still are oppressing people around the globe. Castro is gone, we can only pray for such strong men, given a chance for their propagation, even the oppressors will benefit and see the wrong of their ways.

They did not have to rely on the leader of their country on fixing their homes or living their lives for them . My late parents and grandparents did it themselves back in Cuba and whe we immigrated to America legally on August 2, 1956 they did the same thing. We were never on welfare.

The friends who helped Vietnam most were the Soviet Union, Cuba and Iraq. The US has failed before Cuba, so it should find all ways to smear and cause conflict and animosity. Cuba is under embargo, so it is extremely difficult for them. Vietnam has also gone through a period of being embargoed by the US, so it is extremely miserable because of poverty. It's great when the friendship thinks that Vietnam - Cuba is still burning red. Admire the talent, great personality of P.Castro and CHE Guevara. Thank you Cuba for its great help to Vietnam during the war and the transfer of Covid vaccine technology to Vietnam. May Cuba quickly stand up strong and rich and beautiful.

@@joshuacruz4244 Castro doesn’t look Caucasian? Lmao he looks exactly like Liam Neeson, Justin Trudeau looks like his son. Castro’s family are from Spain. “Latinos” aren’t mixed of anything, Latinos are from the Roman Empire & Hispanics are from Hispania (Spain & Portugal). You’re using Imperialist American terminology that was first started to use in 1970. And not all Anglo-Saxons are Blonde hair, Blue eyes, I know several with brown eyes & dark hair.

What a clown. Buddy I'm Puerto Rican my ancestors are a mixture of taino Indian, Spaniards, africans. Same as Cubans. Fidel Castro doesn't look anything like Trudeau or Liam nieson stupidest thing I've ever heard. You're pretty special aren't you buddy ? Short bus rider. Real life history isn't American imperialism kid. Finish school. Also, when I said Caucasian I said in a figurative sense anybody with a thinking brain can understand what a Caucasian looks like. Fidel castros facial features aren't that of a typical looking white guy buddy. He doesn't look like Chris with the long nose and wavy hair and white skin that gets red in the sun. Get it pal.
