Baba, thank you very much o . You know these people too well. We must not waist our time debating or talking and discussing the way forward with them o. They are planning their next move. You can not read their minds. They can agree that all is well and even swear with their Koran that they are at peace with their victims. Before you know it, they will attack. This is their way o. History has it that this is the way they operate o right from their funders time and even in our very Northern Nigeria. So we must not relent in this struggle since its like you people think as they are begging for one Nigeria restructuring may be good. You can see the rubbish sehu was saying by Parliamentary. This is capital NO.. This should be arrived at by the number of the old 4 regional zoning before the Fulani military wrongful take over of power.. The Eastern, Mid western, Western, Northern regional division. It was their military rule era that tricked or tactically manipulated the zonal division to sooth their selfish and self centeredness cheating on other regions to their own advantage. Obasnjo spent his time fighting for third term, Jonathan allowed free for all draining of our oil wealth and they both did not see the need for restructuring. Shame on them. You can see how the northerners are all talking as if Nigeria is their personal property. We must stand our grounds but should not make us relent in our plan should they resist restructuring Nigeria. We have been too quiet for these pack of cheats and power drunk Northerners. Enough is enough. Restructuring or nothing else.

Fundamentally, Nigerian constitution is a flawed document and it’s “packagers” deliberately skewed it to favour Northern Nigeria, and I belief Buhari being a covert part of the last Military Junta in 1999 through secret Northern meetings designed to outsmart other tribes in the entity called Nigeria. My take: The 1999 constitution is the primary problem upon which all other problems are founded; if the government wishes to be honest. However, with the likes of “parochial Shehu Garba and others” advising the government and with the attendant sectoral fear of restructuring which may deny them of “current unqualified benefits”, revolutionary actions will eventually remain the only way out, no matter how delayed. This APC government has totally destroyed all sane democratic structures some heroes sacrificed their lives for; through mismanagement, nepotism, flagrant disobedience to the Rule of Law, and extra-judicial killings encouraged by this same “opportunist” Buhari and other military elements (former coup plotters turned politicians, living or dead) who should be arraigned and punished for their roles in historical Coups and recorded Treasonable felonies till date.

Pa Adebanjo said it all. That's the yearning of Nigerians. Shehu said the present govt position; they won't do it, and if we push them to, they will only listen if we agree to go through the parliament where the Hausas obviously have the highest number. My opinion for solution...let all well meaning Nigerian gather together and demand this govt to change this constitution they way Pa Adebanjo has said it. Then we can have dividend of democracy...else...all tell will soon break lose.

We can perfectly live together if we restructure and change the Constitution of our country. Pa Adebanjo was very right. Let's buy some ideas from the Canadian system. We can redesign our system of Government to a very cheap one. We can't maintain this American system. It is too expensive. Why should we be sending power generated to National grid before it is distributed? Each LGA can generate their power and distribute it. Why can't state Government tap into the natural resources of their state? Why should somebody living in Lagos and Borno have the same minimum wage? We truly need to fix the Constitution. I don't think The President is ready to restructure. They only used restructuring to deceive people during the election.

Since you [FG mouth piece] said there is no uniformity in Nigeria, you have belled the cat, so to say. So therefore the country has to be restructured and not 'winner takes it all' as it is presently, according to you. You really cant sit on top of 200 million people and say that they must adhere to whatever Buhari says. Buhari cannot speak for everyone as he clearly has a different perceptions to, even, trying to answer the question of his plans for mobilising the youths. He clearly had no clue what that meant, and even Trump, standing beside him, was left confused, and asked what the man was saying, without being biased. So something really has to be done to stabilise Nigeria. Thanks for bringing this talks to the forefront as it shows there is some aspect of solidarity and some genuine people are trying to sort this situation out PEACEFULLY. Thank you for posting.

Hallam Shehu said we are of divers people and that we not uniform which is true, as that is the reality of the amalgamation of the country then we should allowed each region to practice the system of government that favours them, the north should practice the system of government that they like and south should be allowed to decide which system they like as well rather imposing one system or unpopular system or a constitution on all the country that the southern region are complaining about, infact the constitution made by military regime should have ended or died with military regime and a new constitution should be drafted by the civilian era or dispension that attend or addresses the concerns of all the regions. Referendum ,electoral college, delegates plebiscite and parliament should be allowed to decide the way forward for the country.

You think its all about using this military created number of unproductive states in the north to restructure Nigeria. It will not work. The national assembly will not restructure the country for us it's the stake holders comprising the old ,young etc. So it's not the national assembly.

Jubril Buhari came in to power in the 80s through ministry coup. Now the same Jubril Buhari rigged the election results for 2019. So what else can you tell us. Nigeria is a cursed place, there's nothing good that will come out of it, except kidnapping, raping, killing, initimidations, oppressions, backwardness, stagnation, ritual dens, ritualists, occultic sacrifices, and other evil 😈 things. There will be no restructuring because those who've gotten used to the advantages of the current constitution would not allow it. That leave us with a sudden death spiral out of which would come a multiplicity of camps. Those who find common ground will end up together and form a workable nation. As for Nigeria, it is dead - it just does not know it yet.

The fact is without reinstating our first parliamentary constitution, which possesses check and balance clauses, less costly to operate, much more transparent than presidential system, Nigeria shall remain doom in protracted impoverishment and under developed. In addition! our curriculums for primary school, junior high school, senior high school and new curriculum for university education are all need to be reviewed and be reformed to be more focused towards goals of critical infrastructural development. Our education minister, appears confused and uncharted with his education vision.

Nigeria's problem is in, not harnessing the resources that Nigeria has in abundance in every part. The resources are in two parts; namely, PEOPLE and LAND with all that pertains to land. Educate and train the PEOPLE in the area of harvesting what the LAND has to provide. It is sad that Nigeria is basing revenue generation on Petroleum and Gas, majorly. But these are diminishing assets, and pitiably environment degrading. Nigeria can generate income from Agriculture, in a sustainably self-regenerating way. Agriculture is beautiful, peaceful and environment-friendly. It has been humanity's first preoccupation. When every part is generating income from within their confines, the fear of not having enough to survive by would subside and there would be peace in prosperity, regardless of where the President comes from.

Baba Adebanjo for Peace and progress to return and reign in Nigeria the bitter truth is to get all the Southern States, Middle Belts, minority States in the Northern region, and those who are interested to join from the core North together, form a political party and contest elections together under one party flag, then make 'Reconstruction and true federalism' your point of focus. All your 1949-1984 co- politicians should regard themselves as retired including their families, you should all regard your selves as Elders and political advisers, they should not contest or be considered for any political posts, either your children or grandchildren should not be seen near corridor of power at any level of the Government, also there should not be any professional politicians during the next political dispensations, this will keep corruption a little away from us .

This Mallam is not speaking the truth, because there is no positive diversity while some people are enjoying and others are suffering. The man is not showing wisdom we are not discussing about Buhari administration but how everyone within the Nigeria space will belong, there is nothing wrong with regional government. To me it seems the North just want to continue to rule without considering the pains of the people that is being rule

One section of the country can not hold the whole country to ransome. If the North does not want restructuring, then the South and Middle belt should go their own way.
