That would be snow plow and now this spreading gravel situation lol! I like how he has the chains to keep that tailgate from opening too much. The first guy I seen do this on YT didn't have chains, and still did an awesome job, and he did it going in reverse.

GOOD TO SEE, men working TOGETHER, of different ' colors ! ' Oh, an item of interest for you; #lazypondFarm. Maybe get some old railroad ties, and put a row on each side, of the driveway. This, will make a wonderfull, border between the grass and the access road. Bury them about 2 inches into the earth; and maybe even paint them, white. This will be a good visible, sight at night when headlights shine. TAKE CARE......! That driver, obviously has alotta experience, gauging the load size /distance / depth of spread with speed required.

I'm assuming you was talking about crusher run. That's rock that has been run through the rock crusher to size the rock, then not washed, so it's go dust mixed in the rock.

I'm not sure how to measure my driveway to buy the correct amount, so I will ask for 20 tons and ask how much it will cost me, I want the pea gravel . Thank you for sharing your video.👍😍

I would not suggest pea gravel until you hav a solid base. Also pea gravel is nor good with lawn mowers! It will shoot it all over

53 s is a good size for driveway. Just enough dust in it to harden up stop the rock from rolling around.. Size 2 for a base. Let water down thru it.

I sympathize with you, I have a private drive that’s right at a quarter mile from my mailbox at the road to my house and it’s gravel. Brooks usually order 20 tons at a time of chat that has a lot of lime in it, for yrs I had it dropped as you do then get the gravel rake out and that was ok in my 20’ and 30’ and even 40’ but today I’m in my 60’s and still just a regular working joe, though I have slowed some. Today I do it with a Kubota thankfully. Yea I still drive a 20 yr old pickup because having the tractor was just more important for obvious reasons, Good luck young man!
