Fabregas only started 13 games in that title season under Conte. He started 33 in the two seasons before and 25 in the season after with conte, it's entirely fair to characterize that as "not really getting in the team". Havertz played more minutes last season than fabregas in that title win. I'm all for giving it to redknapp but c'mon

I think he will actually change the system at spurs to play a number 10. I think he will drop Moura. Switch to 2 up top with Kane and Son. Then play Ndombele in behind them as basically a traditional 10. Essentially a 3-4-1-2 instead of his traditional 3-4-2-1 he used at Chelsea and Inter.

Basically drop Moura - switch to 2 up top with Kane and Son and play Ndombele as an attacking mid in behind them to give them more creativity through the middle. Kane is the best player we've got for that number 10 role. I really don't know why he isn't played there (false 9) as it is these days, with two pacey strikers ahead of him.. He will always get forward to score, has the best shot in the squad from distance and has the best passing range.. Seems a no brainer. Build the team around him, isolating him up top just doesn't work for me because he's too slow to play in behind, which is necessary to stretch teams and create space.

Jamie obviously only looked at Conte when he was at chelsea. Conte played and arguable prefers playing with a 10 and two strikers - take eriksen at inter for example. It doesn’t even need to be your typical 10 but it certainly can fit into conte’s system. Jamie likening son to hazard is silly. Son is a great creative outlet but he doesn’t possess that same skillet as hazard and much more of a striker. As for Fàbregas, he had 17 goal involvements in 29 games under conte in the league. What is he on about?

Tottenham will never win anything bigger than the FA cup all the time Daniel Levy is at the helm because he’s only ever interested in shopping in the bargain basement!!! Conte is a quality manager but does have limitations to his scope and that will be even greater with Levy’s reluctance to spend, they definitely won’t be winning the league any time soon, Roy Keane hit the nail on the head when it was discussed about Kanes disappointment of not getting a transfer move, Keane said he should be used to disappointment he plays for Tottenham 🤷🏼‍♂️, harsh but true! Unfortunately as quality a striker Kane is he’s likely to have a career that’s grossly short of silverware for a player of his talent!!!!!

And also need a backup striker, and a no. 10. Ideally also need another DM, and CB too. But, the no.10, RWB, backup striker are the most important needs.
