Mine rode for about an hour or so of slow pushing a stroller up hills so it's good. Also worth mentioning that mine is 2 years old and has a max range of 6 miles or so, a swagtron t1.

Really well then i am glad i didnt get bluetooth although that would have been cool

Next time go until it completely stops, cause when it beeps it still has about 20% battery left, so you could prob still go the extra mile, also turn off Bluetooth on hover board and go in and unplug the light animations! That would be the real test for the battery

@@jamesott4095 correct but In the act of really testing the battery, it need to go to 0% with no other accessories running such as blue tooth and lights, and correct me if I’m wrong but don’t modern lithium ion batteries still work perfectly after being drained all the way and recharged? I’ve heard both stories some say the old ones did but modern ones don’t matter, lmk

Ya I did the same and it helps rlly removing lights and no bluetooth is very important if u want battery and abt the thing of using it till the charge is totally over I would say is not worth it as if u do that too many times it can cause serious loss in battery life

It’s beeping with a red light because you have to calibrate it. To do so you have to hold the power button for about thirty seconds holding the board completely straight and then power it off, turn it on again and then your good to go.

thanks, that's what killed it for me. After half an hour your feet are numb 😓 even when riding on immaculately pristine tarmac. Got a skateboard 🏂 instead. carving, dancing , cross stepping, hopping off and back on without stopping. 40km with all terrain wheels never get sore or bored even once. Dope speakers 🔊 though.

My hoverboard hover 1 goes 12 miles per hour

5 miles is far for such light weight batteries... vs a Ezip 24v scooter with 6 x 12v 5A (24V 15A) batteries which gave me a little over 3 miles prob around 15 mph (i didnt check or time the trip). Thanks for the vid, i imagine it would get boring thats why i only know my limits from 2 trips to the store and google maps vs a non stop ride which ill do soon lol

You have to remove the limiters to do that you have to watch vids on how to remove the limiters but carefull it will go so fast

I have the same one, it's called a Xprit XPW666, it's 149.99$ on Amazon, it's a great and fast hoverboard!

i got a scooter battery for it that I just wear on me while I ride my 10 in hoverboard

I found hoverboard working have to get charger I was thinking I also found two batteries for a sit-down scooter... Possible to charge those up put them in backpack run a wire to hoverboard for switch over power...

It wasn't made to go fast. A little one like on the video goes 10~15km/h max, mine goes 18km/h but it's a heavy one with 10" wheels. The fasters can go up to 20~22km/h, but again, speed is not the main criteria for this kind of stuff. The most important data are the power and the autonomy : The more it is powerfull, the less is the risk to fall down due to a lack of power.

So let me get this straight..... The hoverboard was averaging 12 'miles per hour'(which means a speed at which you travel 12 miles in 1 hour of time) and he was going for 1 hour and 7 minutes and only went just over 5 miles...... So wouldn't his speed average approx. 5mph since he only went 5 miles in 1 hr...

@@dachax6650 Yo it's unstable at 12Km/h, impossible to be ridin on that thing going further than that, tested it for months and no hoverboard is capable of that.
