I am an ex drug addict. Heroin and crack. 4 years ago, some stuff happened, and after 20 years of drug misuse, I finally started to turn things around. Now I've been fat all my life, even through my addiction. So about a year ago now (3 years into my recovery) I finally, actually, got up and joined a gym and started to exercise on a regular basis. I knew at the start that i could channel my addictive behaviour in to doing exercise😊. Thus far its gone really well. I've over done it twice and made myself ill and had to stop going but both times the addiction has made me go back once I had recovered. So right nowcl my addiction has my exercising in a really good place . HOWEVER, I KNOW WHO I AM. I know that at some point in the future, my addiction to exercise will flip from a good addiction to a bad one. Obviously, I want to avoid that. But if I just stop working out, I'll get fat again. So I need information on keeping my exercise addiction in a good place and not letting it flip over into a bad place. Can anyone help, please I've been looking this up for a while now and I can't find any information exercise addiction in a good place. There's lots of information on how to quit exercise addiction but nothing on managing it

Start going to jiujitsu, or kick boxing. At least you’ll move up in ranks, make friends and receive awards for your hard work in this case addiction where you only become better at something and more skilled.
