Lets be honest here, E-drag is just the troop SC added so casuals don't quit the game. I hate this troops so much just for the fact that 95% of the clashers I recruit for my clan just spam e-drags. They don't think at all just spam and "WOOHOOO" 1 star or 2 star rarely they get a 3 star. Unless its like 6-8 villages bellow theirs in war.

@@theamazingspooderman2697 I have seen this a lot, Right now with th 15 I rarely find spammers, earlier when I wasn't maxed on th 14 (last year) I was in a clan with mindless e drag spammers. we all were on th 14 and we weren't able to move beyond Master II in cwl, I was the lone Lalo attacker in the clan... I switched clans this year and I really love my current clan. Champion II in league, and extremely competitive, you learn a lot from people who use multiple strat instead of being in between mindless spammers

@@theamazingspooderman2697Funny thing is my strategy involves spamming the regular dragon. I have E dragons but don’t use them as I don’t know if they’d be better with their slower attack speed and movement. My strategy also uses lightning spells and the bomb siege equipment to eliminate the most dangerous defenses. I am thinking of adding healers but can’t be bothered to experiment to find how many or how few I need to not lose any dragon benefits.

I remember in CP COC Edrags were pretty good upon release, then everyone started updating their bases to allow for worse chain lightning and noone used them except for TH10s with Electrone (Blimp with edrag and a loon + clone and rage.)

1:42- This btw is a wrong way to use e drag. You have to ensure all the dragons are inside the warden eternal tome along with balloons, then apply ranges on two ends so the army is forced in the centre.

If you dont like them..build your base spaced out enough to break the chain..its easy so everyone can play

I always prefer regular dragons over elektro dragons. 1: regular dragons have more hp per camp space. 2: are a bit faster in both attack speed and movement speed making them less weak to air sweepers than e-dragons, 3: you can have more of them per attack meaning you can spread them out more than e-dragons. 4: dragons have a super version, e-dragons dont. 5: Regular dragons are good against any base, e-dragons are good for compact bases but not for bases that are spread out. 6: The aftermath damage with small lightnings that a e-dragon has, is not very strong and can be very inconsistent on where it drops.

I still use dragons and dragon riders with SA blimp in th15, out of 10 attacks 7-8 are triple, I mean SA is broken anyways.😅 One good thing regular dragons is they don't need much spell support unlike clumsy edrags.

Last time I used something different than electro dragons was town hall 10 with golems, pekkas and wizards or only dragon. TH 11, and since then I have a 3 star rate of around 99 percent. Granted, I always search a bit before I see a base suited to get 3 stars like air sweeper next to air defense or inferno tower. 12 lightning spells for the air defences, 1 freeze spell according to circumstances, and it works even in the clan war really well. Th 13 currently, 4th place in my clan and e-drags comfortably take out the enemy 7th and 8th base with ease. Its just so braindead and easy that I literally dont need to think, which is quite comfortable.

As someone who invests quite some time clashing every day (was 5600+ in legends league one season), the game needs e-drags to keep players who invest less than an hour a week content. It’s far less seen in higher-ranked clan wars and league attacks now though (especially against TH15+ with spell towers). To me, e-drags are just a crutch which every player would eventually throw away if they want to get good.

I find edragons to be base specific. If it has those rings around the inferno's then it will never be a 3star. If it's a closed base then it will probably be a 3star

I like it when TH11s attack me, a TH10, with Mass Electro Dragons or E-Drags + Balloons with enough lightning spells to destroy all but 1 of my air defenses, and still fail because my infernoes are placed in rings that the e dragons can’t chain into and will rarely path into, and by blowing up the air defenses, they destroy all the pathing to the core, which also happens to funnel them towards the 2 inferno tower rings.

It would be nice if SC gave the sweeper another level but they refuse to do so. And edrag is one of the first troops to get a new level when a new TH comes out, which is telling on how frequent it's used.

E drags are good for cleanup after the main attack but for the actual attack there are way better strats.

If it's not for them most of the players would have quite the game as the game is toooo complicated after th13

Lol to those noobs asking for nerfs 1) they are screwed when air sweepers locks on 2) single target inferno can wreck them easily even their chain lightening cant reset the single target inferno 3) seeking air mines are 1 shoot kill 4) the time they take to lock on is slow 5) they are a 30 housing space troop fyi So just max out your base n place the defence correctly and stop crying over balance troops unless you have skill issue

Everything is right except air mine doesn't kill the e-drag.. It takes out most of the hp though

I personally did a mix of both normal and E drags with hero’s and loons The hero’s would commit the first assault and soften the defenses before e drags are deployed then in the back would be drags and loons. It’s for me something simple because I’m no sweat or major strategist. As long as I win the battle I was happy.

Best thing about e-drags is they are so overpowered that i scored 70% 2 star from th11 to th15. They are not that good when taking 3 stars but its worth when you don't have heroes and you are skilled.

Looking back at this video , electro dragons don't really look that op as people claim them to be

As someone who use mainly E-Drags I love them I don't want 100 different troops in my attack which can only work on some specific bases to get all loot... this is for me actually annoying simple easy strategies aren't very much out there ... the guys who do love exactly this kind of gamestyle complain and they want it to get nerfed and this is the problem... most people go with the simple attacks because they like it... getting rid of these would reduce the player amount extreme and removes fun ... and especially money ... please if you want to ruin someone else's game because you don't like it... just stop playing it ... far better for the game

How do we truly balance this troop. Reduce chain atk by 1 or heavy dmg drop of chain atk

its fine the way it is. games should be accessible regardless of skill level and that includes in attacking. there's some hard strategies like lavaloon or super barbs, but there's the easy ones like edrag spam. overall, supercell doesnt really nerf them as you can't use edrag spam to three star every base, otherwise it definitely would've been nerfed

Let me tell you e drag is easy to get 1 or 2 star... But to get 3 star you need to be a pro at it... That's why people hate it... Coz they easily get 2 stars but don't get a triple

Electro dragons are only OP by a lower town hall perspective. Electro spam is a 2 star strategy at best, you aren't getting 3 stars with that strategy. Also air sweepers can just completely shut them down. I think you completely exaggerate the power of certain troops and spells, I also really disagreed with your lightning spell.

if you're two starring with edrags, you're either 1: spamming them with no thought, 2: not using spells right, or 3: just not strategizing before sending in the edrags. Edrags is a skill based attack which requires spell timings and good planning to execute properly, and when executed properly, is absolutely devastating to most bases.

In th 14-15 e drags only get ~50-60% of the base. It's upto heroes to 3 star the base.

People who whine about why many spam Edrags instead of learning other strategies truly are pathetic. We actually have a life outside of CoC so we can't really dedicate the time to learn about a new strat especially when we're not sweaty clash nerds. This troop is simple and consistent and it appeals to those of us who play this game casually. Can't accept that a game has lots of casual players? Then don't play. Shut up and uninstall the game
