I’m excited for the future innovations this company will bring into the world. I hope they keep pushing boundaries, and never stop bringing out these amazing ideas. This technology gives a false sense of perpetual energy. It’s amazing. If they can manage to build a battery they can guarantee for 10+ years, I believe they would take over the market. Especially if they go on sale.
It all sounds great, but how much is it gonna cost, what's the warranty, what kind of longevity will we be looking at, and how will it hold up in extreme conditions? There are so many unanswered questions
EGO engineering is so good they are able to beat the insanity of regulation in California.
EGO is making some nice stuff these days. I'm loving their blower and edger.
Cool Vince 😎
Wow that’s great
I love ego equipment, but what is this going to cost a landscaper to invest in this system.

Good question Rick, I gonna dive a little deeper and get some answers!
put in a socket in the PGX battery, so you can use it for other stuff even camping
I saw Clint from VCG walking filming you in the trailer. He is following you around!!!!LOL!!! YOU ARE HIS IDOL!!!! EGO might be very good, but their stuff is overpriced and unaffordable. How much gas can you buy for lawn mowing equipment for cost one of their batteries. Years!!!

I think you’re correct Ron, TRZ might be my biggest fan!
I like this Ego stuff. What I don’t like is the very high cost of their batteries per amp hour. They make Milwaukee battery costs look pretty reasonable.
It all sounds great in theory, much like a lot of other things do. I'll let someone else beta test the first gen of this system for me before i hop on version 2.

I am trying out some of the new gen 2 commercial stuff. First impression is they feel really nice. Long term reliability is unknown at this point.
That would be great with an EGO 34" 2 stage snowblower running off 4 batteries.
I need advice on a milwaukee Sawzall fuel m18 gen2 you know of any sale you help would be much appreciated
Charge in. the field - Ford Lightning or a modern electric truck will do it all - charge the EGO batteries and pull the load.
The only issue I have with that new commercial battery bank is what would be the advantage to buying that to charge batteries on the job rather than just spending that money on another couple batteries? I’m sure it’s not going to be less expensive Edit: nevermind, it would be pretty useful if you have the new mower, I just needed to watch a little further in the video
To add to this system would be a gas inverter generator. This way you can charge on the go all the time. And will be the only gas engine you wlll every maintain going forward or add a solar invertor/charger with shore power to plug in the EGO charger to and you can charge by solar or shore power. Many options to expand this.
Did I miss the point of the lock? To steal it you just unlatch all three batteries and charger from the wall...

I was thinking the same thing lol
home storage? power wall killer?
Ego should start with 32" and 36" commercial riders first.
Ego is doing great things for sure. But let’s pause here a second… 1.) this is going to cost a fortune. 2.) they are charging batteries in a trailer which is almost certainly pulling power from a gasoline/diesel truck lol. It’s just overly complicating something that worked perfectly fine with gas equipment.
Cool stuff and info for your VCG Gang!👍🧰😍
