I don't know, right now they could do a major overhaul and make it right but we all know they won't. If UFC games are going to get better I think it will have to be a different company to EA. EA sports... always. stays. the. same.

No. EA has the licence for the next ten years. The Undisputed games are dead, the teams and companies that made them are dissolved. Sad but true. We're in for this sht for the foreseeable future

Look up UFC Undisputed Forever, it's a mod of Undisputed 3 that brings modern fighters into the game. It's still in progress but very cool.

If they let the people mocapping hit a heavy bag instead of shadowboxing the strikes would look much more impactful and realistic. This is exactly what bas rutten did for gta IV when he did motion capturing for niko. If you go and look at gta IV it actually looks like niko is hitting something and not air.

I didn’t know Bas did Niko’s animation but yes that’s a big problem they let them shadow box instead of hitting the bag. Go look at 2k when they are making mocap for dunks it’s emulating irl movement

No franchise has gotten worse than NHL. I own every single game since 92 and I can honestly say the last 4 or more games are exactly the same. I will not buy it next year for the first time in my life but ea just thinks people will buy their game because they have no competition and they are definitely wrong

I think UFC 3 is the best game in the series. The way they ruined this game is Sad. I bought UFC 4 the first day and it was uninstalled after a week. Just simple things like not being able to pick your weight class in ranked made this game unplayable. Why they would just destroy the grappling system, I have no idea. I still play 3 every once and a while but I refuse to play UFC 5. They released a brand new game with no new fighters. EA is the Worst

Ufc 2 is better

My top games in order are: 1. EA MMA 2. THQ Undisputed 3 3. THQ Undisputed 09 4. EA UFC 2 My scoring is based on overall balance and enjoyment factor over realism. Also, EA UFC 3 being "Pay to Win" wasn't really that much so like people thought.

UFC 2 was my favorite. In my opinion, EA sports ruined UFC 3 when they changed how the controls work and didn't give players the option to continue using UFC 2 controls.

I miss fighting online in UFC 2 😞

I still remember when ufc 4 came out they took ufc 3 off the PlayStation store temporarily to scam us into buying ufc 4, if call of duty devs did something like that the franchise would vanish and that's exactly what should happen to ufc.

I can not wrap my head around the fact why people expect something else from EA, when the company is well known in the last two decades for soullessly producing games as soap bricks at a 19's century factory, talking about soccer games, need for speed etc. etc. etc. Why are you freaking surprised?

Ea ufc 2 still goes hard, you can actually swang and bang without strikes being cancellwd halfway through due to your opponent hitting you, also the knockouts are top tier, get a nasty realistic ko nearly every fight

Everything new is also half baked. Cuts are way too frequent and absolutely ruined my legendary career run. I'm 13-0 but can't exit a camp without multiple injuries and my career is already done because I'm experiencing widespread stat drops after every fight. The submission system is great in theory but sucks in practice. It's not possible to submit on your first attempt, and a submission health bar is the dumbest shit I've ever heard of. I thought they were going to make it so you had to transition through each stage of a sub, with more or less stages depending on the submissions move level... but that would've actually required work, so just one stage, bullshit sub health, cut out half the subs in the game.... and they STILL haven't done shit about input lag, and they STILL have strikers (especially at heavier weight divisions) striking at the speed of drying paint. I play on legendary, the ai can throw, cancel their strike, slip/block my strike, and counter before I can do shit. Why? Oh right, because the ai doesn't have input delay. That's not even getting into the bugs, missing moves training REQUIRES me to learn, how shit training is in general, how lacking grappling/ ground and pound is, or the clinch. Not even touching the absence of depth in career mode or the fact that inputs are constantly getting lost. I've seen ant brained people call this "the best UFC game". This is barely a working game. Of all the games I've ever wasted money on just because I caved and wanted to see if the shills were right, this is one is my biggest regret. EA will never make a good UFC game. They don't care to. UFC 6 will not be any better, a new fight night won't be either. EA is a shell of what they were, it's time we stop feeding their laziness and let them fail.

I'll play UFC undisputed 3 forever, before I ever touch an EA game.

I still keep my Jtag 360 for one major reason, Undisputed 3, the greatest MMA game of all time, forever more. There will be nothing like it again.

Even though they have the ressources to make the greatest UFC game ever. UFC games will never be great as long as the franchise belong to EA. Each time they release a "new game" they spend so much time fixing it than they do not have time to work on real new improvements for the next games. I dont like 2k either but at least even though their games are copy and paste every year and full of micro transactions the core product is actually pretty good ! GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS BRO 🙏🏾

Also I would say the tracking has to be fixed.I would like the controls to change back to how they were like with UFC 4,but that won’t happen,and I’d settle for the tracking to get fixed at least.

I only play UFC 3. I remember that UFC 4 came out for PS Plus, I installed it, I started playing it and in less than 10 minutes of gameplay I uninstalled the game to continue playing UFC 3. We are already on the fifth game and I prefer to play a version past of the saga

UFC 3 is definitely the best in the EA Sports UFC series (though saying that, none of their titles measure up to what THQ did... if old THQ had stayed in business and kept going with this franchise, I think it'd be truly amazing by now). I'd agree that UFC 4 is really where the slide began. UFC 5 is simply a punch in the genitals of every fan who has supported the series to this point. So much content was removed (over 55% of submission moves are gone, technical submission animations are gone, fighters were removed from the roster without new ones being added to replace them making the roster even smaller than UFC4, etc) that calling it a 'new' full-priced game was just a joke. I also like the new transition submission system, but not at the expense of so many jiu jitsu submission moves. That was just stupid. But then this is EA... they'll undoubtedly do a 'Madden' and re-add some of those moves in UFC 6 while claiming them as 'new' features.

12:22 to add icing on the cake you can’t play UFC 2 or 3 because it’s locked behind ea pay wall. So essentially you can’t play the game at all unless u get a disc copy of the game or pay the monthly subscription in order to play the game

Not sure which platform you're on, but I can play UFC 2 perfectly fine on my PS4. I own the digital copy too, owned it for about 3 years now. Used to play it at my friend's before that.

Dope production, man. I'm sure close to 8 hours of editing, if not more, went into this 18-minute video...and that's after you factor in pre-planning, gathering clips and content, writing the script, recording the voiceover, etc. Good shit!

The biggest issue in my opinion in the game is the tracking. Guys throwing the same combos the whole fight you know it’s coming try to slip it and it still hits you. That’s most annoying. Number two they have to do something about the fact that you can knock a guy down 6-7 times before finishing them. Then you get rocked once and ko’d it’s ridiculous how bad this game is. UFC 4 in its current state is better than ufc 5.

Comparing EA to THQ is like comparing mud to gold. It's beyond me how EA, with all its nonsense, is still standing while THQ, creators of genuinely amazing games, has been forced out. I miss THQ! UFC Undisputed 3 is the GOAT MMA game! Every THQ UFC game was solid.

Imagine if we got a ufc game with the stand up mechanics and animations of UFC 2 and the ground game mechanics of UFC Undisputed 3. I can just keep dreaming tho…😢

I like online career mode, if they fix all the bugs even better. I gotta say though, what's with all the stupid looking clothing items for the cafs, such as goofy masks that cover the whole face so you can't see face damage. Why can't they add some new tattoos, how about some more hair styles.. One more thing, you got these obvious cheaters using some kind of lag switch, you report them and nothing ever gets done.

I got the demo for UFC 5 then quit video games…it was that bad

I owned every boxing, MMA(PrideFc and EA sports MMA), and kickboxing(K-1 games) game ever, literally. I will say that Fight Night Champions is the best p4p. I am currently enjoying Undisputed on my PC in Ultra settings though.

This didn’t age well, ufc 5 is the best ufc game to date.

KO mode was one of the dumbest things ever, it was basically admitting the grappling system was complete ass. The only thing I liked about it, was it was the perfect paradigm for the casual fan/fighter who only wants to stand and bang and has no other mma knowledge lol.

The career modes suck in my opinion like why in the hell do they have a longevity meter that feature kills the gameplay in my personal opinion

I actually emulated Undisputed 3 before picking up EA UFC 4. Comparing the two, Undisputed 3 actually feels like I'm playing a UFC game. When I hop onto UFC 4, it just feels like I'm playing Fortnite or some goofy shit. The immersion just isn't there as much. Personally, I think that EA is trying to hard too pander to everyone that there isn't enough focus on what matters. To EA's credit however, I do like the more varied list of moves. I do miss the grappling controls of Undisputed 3 tho.

This would probably be a series I actually buy yearly if it just kept and improved on the way ufc 2 worked. UFC 2 was perfect and it's the only one I go out of my way to go back to. Recent ones all feel the same and that foundation of the general feel of it all isn't even good. Moves like the superkick to the face look ridiculous and that was always one of my favorite kicks to throw. I can't stand current UFC games. Every time a first trailer drops now I'm like "okay but is it still garbage?"

There is only one referee in UFC 5 Herb Dean. Sean O'Malley in UFC 3 is so cool to play with but in ufc4 and 5 just simple not really unique. EA wants just make a lot of profits out of ufc/ mma fan. Sometimes I wonder if the developers watch UFC live event or week fight. Personally, I am so disappointed with ufc4 and ufc5.

I actually don't dislike UFC 5, still needs improvements though. UFC Undisputed 3 was my favourite closely followed by EA MMA.

EA UFC game have good things , liké EA UFC 2 and 3 with IS Big slam KO Thé foot work IS better for me too... But undisputed 3 was so better Grappling, ground game , punch felling ( power in ground and pound) Game mode and more... I dont buy EA UFC 5 i will wait ... Sorry for mistake i'm french🙏

13:25 Frostbite isn't new, it was used on bf3 in 2011. And is actually even older than that. (obviously they have updated the engine, but its still an old ass engine.)

by giving it FIFA treatment, thats how it is... not caring to improve gameplay anymore, making the same game every update and barely changing anything, barely adding any new features, not caring about fan community, targeting casuals rather than long time fans. if you play other sport games EA did, you will realize UFC is not the only. EA cares only what makes profit, not for gaming or fans. I play FIFA since 2000s, which was a masterpiece in early to mid 2010s, but as of late 2010s and 2020s, they are doing the same of what they do with UFC. I never played Madden as i dont know anything about american football, so I cant claim anything for that one, but I heard from many people that they are doing the same for that series as well. wish we had more alternatives to EA in sports, especially for UFC, Boxing and FIFA. too bad THQ's Undisputed isnt around anymore, good old Winning Eleven (PES) is a mobile game now and the new undisputed boxing game isnt any near to compete with Fight Night. so, like it or no, we only have EA's sport games...
