I respectfully disagree. Even Matt Forde's trump impression is lacklustre. Seth Meyers' non-professional, off-the-cuff impression is far superior both in style and in actual timbre. Bottom line, I like Our Cartoon President more, I find it's more perceptive and more interesting and fun. SI pushes the whole farce aspect a bit harder, but I don't think that makes it funnier or better.

@@AK-74K I'm not in an echo chamber, I guess there's no way to prove this. The best I can do is say that I attend the socialist society and free market society at my university (or used to at least). Your metaphor was not very funny either so I'm sure this show is right up your alley. Seems to be your types favourite show as its humour consists entirely of look at "look at Boris and Trump, what silly clowns". I watched all of the old spitting image episodes and enjoyed them very much but this lacks almost all wit, transplanting politcal figures into random situations with no contextual link to the character isn't satire, it's bad writing. I'm a socialist and this attempts to take the piss out of people I hate, yet it does so so badly that even I cannot but feel like a bath full of bleach is a necessity after watching this flaming pile of grabage.

Itv actually own 90% of the video streaming part of it. You also don't have to pay TV licence if you don't watch BBC. If you don't like the BBC then don't watch it. If you don't watch it then don't pay the license fee

Very interesting how they represented Pence. I've always felt there is 'something of the night' about him, like he was dead behind the eyes. Seems like the creators sensed the same thing, which I find quite interesting!

I think he's in black and white because he wants America to be in the 1950s. Spitting Image actually used that gag back in the 1990s for John Major, who was also portrayed as a dull grey man (Pence and Major also share the fact that they were second fiddle to more bombastic figures - Trump/Thatcher).

Anybody notice that the back of that wig is dreaded on the ends😭😭💀💀

I as a brazilian fan, i feel a huge nostalgia watching Spitting Image, the British humor is excellent! I remember the old seasons with David Steel,. Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Neil Kinnock and dozens of other great characters.
