Quick and clear! We're going to unbox and explore the new(ish) Govee Outdoor Motion Sensor. We did find a few gaps, but overall, this is a really well done smart home sensor for detecting motion outside of your home.

Thinking about getting this sensor. Specifically, to use for a semi-security system. I would like it to trigger the two Govee outdoor wall (coach) lights. Can you tell me if it would be possible, if so specific settings to have those lights flash or strobe RED when motion is detected after 11:00pm or late night?

Anything Govee you can trigger as long as it's connected into the app. You could do the motion detection after 11 PM too. :)

Thx for the video, so if its Bluetooth does that mean it will only if phone is home

No! It connects to other Govee devices with Bluetooth. So it has to be nearby one of those. Bluetooth goes far, but closer means more reliable :)

@quicktechreviewss this is what I need, until I set up my mesh network this can connect to the Govee smart lights near the front door and bedroom lights.
