So the ear shape is tuned to amplify note frequencies from approximately B4 to B7 - which is the range that starts on the middle line on the Treble clef upwards to the 2nd-last key on a piano keyboard. Very interesting!
@ 6:40 "perfectly designed" is correct.
In my experience, it gets louder as you press the top right button

Harmonics follow law of continuity
The frequency of 500 Hz is just above the note B4. This is well above the male voice and also above most female speaking voices. Yet this video says that 500 to 4000 Hz is the frequency range of human speech. How can this contradiction be resolved? Are you talking about the harmonics of speech rather than the fundamental?
