Magneto is genius level intellect just like Professor X

Always loved Magnetos design and my head cannon for him always being buff to the max was bc the constant flex of every muscle in his body while doing anything especially levitating. he also never gets sore bc the electromagnetic current flowing through him at all times is like an atomic massage at the same time of using his muscles. that MvC2 look is it for me.

Forgot to mention how his powers allow him to survive Rogue's touch as shown in X-Men '97

He is much more powerful than depicted in the movies. The new animated series did him much better.

Little known fact that i don't think was stated. Magneto can augment his strength to super strength levels as well.

X-Men #25 was also when he sent out a massive EMP wave which affected the entire world . That was a good issue.

Sooo he has unrelenting plot armor

the days future past movie magneto can controlled lead bullets. And in the first class magneto crushed a handheld brass bell.

One thing that I DIDN’T like about Magneto was his portrayal in the second X-Men movie . Wasn’t that a little bit too much for him?

How strong is Magneto's power? If he was in space, could he deflect solar radiation from a corona mass ejection like the Earth does, or cause one with his power that could put the sun's power to shame? Could he disrupt a sun's magnetic influence to destroy it and cause it to supernova or turn into a black hole?? Could he escape a black hole's gravitational pull or destroy it?

The scientific explanations of his powers were a little bit off but pretty good video otherwise. While molecules utilize electromagnetism, they are chemical in nature. A more apt example would be the bonds of atoms.

They retconned it in. Folks who never read anything pre Fox era don't realize how absurd Magneto's natural resistance to telepathy is, let alone his will. The only reason Professor X was able to shut him down completely in Fatal Attractions was due to Magneto already being heavily wounded by Wolverine and taxed his own powers in the battle in any case. Prior to this, the combination of Jean and X were just ever so subtly getting in his head, implying that at full power he'd be able to fight them off and kill them if they went in aggressively.

No one talks about the fact that Magneto was Jewish and he's mad about a couple of things

He controls magnetic fields...literally everything has one down to your atoms. He's shown to be able to control the fields on an atomic level, so far as to be capable of ripping people apart on an atomic level.

Molecules are bound d together by chemical bonds and electron attraction…no magnetism involved

Electron attraction still uses the forces of electromagnetism. Our hearts beat because of electric impulses, which are still on the electromagnetic spectrum
