HOW DOES LSD (ACID) WORK?
Ғылым және технология
DO YOU KNOW WHAT LSD DOES TO THE BRAIN? LET ME TELL YOU! LSD (also known as Acid) is a psychedelic drug that mimics the happiness hormone Serotonin, so it stimulates a happy and excited feeling in the user. It also reduces activity in the thalamus and prefrontal cortex of the brain, which is usually responsible for information organisation.
Do you struggle with depression? Download my FREE resource "Top Tips for Dealing with Depression" bit.ly/3AyLkx4
With reduced organisation, signals flow freely throughout the brain, causing a trip in the user. Side effects include nausea, sweating, anxiety, hallucinations and an increase in hear rate and body temperature. On the upside, LSD is not an addictive drug.
If somebody is having a bad trip on LSD, the best thing you can do is take them to a calm, safe space, talk them through it and offer them mental support. If this is ineffective, take them to a hospital where they can be kept safe until the drug is gone from their system.
Unfortunately, LSD is an illicit drug, so it is not regulated during production and sale. As a result, it is difficult to know the exact concentration of the drug, making it easy to overdose. Furthermore, little research has been conducted regarding LSD, so not alot is known about this drug. Hopefully more research is done in the future so people can access useful information about this drug and it's benefits and side effects.

one mistake is that you say Diethylamide comes from the ergot fungus, it's actually the Lysergic Acid which is derived from Ergotamine from ergot fungus. Diethylamide is just a basic organic chemical made from 2 (di) double carbon (eth) side chains (yl) attached to an amide (ammonia)

I had depression, bipolar, epilepsy at young age, lose of hope in life, headache, all the negative etc. Marijuana, DMT and MDMA and LSD helped me a lot like reborn; now I got ride of all the disease and disorders; and I’m no addicted to them but if provided I wouldn’t reject as well (because why not? Some times I got views of past life etc, fun!) I think it depends on the person, when you got love, hope and belief in life you won’t be dependent on those because at the end of the way human are social “animals”; we are all scared to be lonely and being alone could lead to negative thinking and increas ego etc, and getting high like you said people want the feel so repeat and repeat, people who are real to life will know when to stop, hard to explain. (But the greatest drug is comfort zone, my opinion) Btw my sleeping quality is very decent can fall asleep anytime I want (meditation forget my physical form and wake up energetic, more like a small nap, and I do it often) could also be due to keto diet, don’t know maybe I’m weird 😂 I would not suggest K as the (cost and reward doesn’t match) Marijuana, DMT, LSD is more about mentality so the more strong the less for side effect whereas K and MDMA (no the original source) will affect body. There’s more to say but can’t think of them all at the time. Just my thoughts. BTW I can eat and exercise and F*CK normally 😂

When it comes to hallucinations you're gonna see beautiful geometric patterns, lines shifting, things like clouds or fur seem to continuously lap over it's edges and objects "breathing" Also colors become extremely vibrant and almost have a feeling or texture. Things that have a pattern start flowing as if it was a liquid and appears to have a great depth. In higher doses you can feel like you're melting into solid objects like the floor or wall. Written words bend into extremely complex geometric patterns that seem to stretch on infinitely. This is just from personal experience, I accidentally dosed myself with roughly 120 nanograms, had a great time no side effects besides gaining a lust for water and being more considerate to others.

Hey Francisco, LSD does cause changes in your brain, and the best way to make it feel normal is to...not use LSD, it should go back to normal after a while. Great question Swegster! If they are just testing your blood or your urine, you will be fine. Good luck my friend, thanks for watching!

Yes, that doesn't sound fun. "More Brain Function 🧠 😴 🙃, YES PLEASE"!!!
So just like with cocaine or any other chemical producing drug, it sort of numbs your dopamine receptors (or other chemical receptors) and you need more? If that's the case, I'd probably pass. That's a dangerous game to be playing.
@TheTravellingScientist
3 жыл бұрын
Hey @MidnightModder excellent question! I realise that I didn't really cover this in the video, but LSD is not really considered to be an addictive drug. It does induce a tolerance, meaning you need to use more each time to get the same effects, however I'm not sure that the tolerance is via dopamine receptors, it is probably via serotonin receptors...similar but different :D Anyway, yes it is probably safe to pass on LSD, but I hope you enjoyed the video and learned something. how long does it last?
@DallasWB
2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the dose, but generally, acids effect will last for about 12-16 hours. You won’t be seeing hallucinations that long it’s more so like 1 or 2 hours of come up, 4 to 6 hours of intense trip, and the rest is a come down which can be from 6-8 hours. They say 6 but I say 8 cuz you’re still trying to stay up and remember what you just went through that whole day and sleeping can be a bit difficult. I’d recommend if you smoke weed, to do it after peak to help with getting you tired especially since come down can seem boring since visuals are gone.
