What course should we do to become an exercise physiologist after 12th

Any permutation or combination of the following, at the very least a Bachelor's degree in: Exercise and Sports science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology.

Good afternoon, I'm interested in aqua therapy, vo2 max tests, testing athletes, and working with populations such as with those with parkinson's disease. It looks like I should apply for my master's in exercise physiology and start looking for career opportunities near me. (I have a bachelor's in Bio) It seems too good to be true- can you really do all of these things as an Exercise Physiologist?

Can I be an Exercise Physiologist or a registers certified exercise physiologist with a masters in kinesiology?

Most exercise physiology careers in World Sport require a Master's or Ph.D job. Due to the high requirements, they are looking at a comfortable salary

Is this a well paid job? It depends on your education level, which sector are you in, which level are you serving, and which region are you in. For elite sports performance wise, like working with top competing national athletes, usually you'd require a Master's or PhD. You'd really need to be a very competent expert in this field as medals and championship titles are at stake in elite performance sports. This is also why for Exercise Physiologists who work in elite performance sports, their pay is better too. Higher stakes, higher level of competency needed, higher pay. In comparison, exercise physiologists who work in healthcare, in the hospitals or outpatient clinics, most of the time only requires a Bachelor's to Master's (depending on employer). They work with a wider population, from sub-acute to chronic diseased patients, from injured individuals looking to get back to sports/pre-injury function, to healthy individuals or recreational athletes who are looking to better their sporting performance. It depends on employer too, but since the stakes are not that high like in elite sports, the pay is relatively less in comparison. Then there's also the community-based, corporate-based or government-based service EPs. Community-based EPs can work in rehab centres or community gyms, designing exercise programmes for respective clients. Pay range can vary here. Corporate-based EPs work with commercial gyms or corporates to design exercise programmes for clients or corporate staff to help them stay active and healthy, reduce occupational health hazards in the process. Pay range is dependant on employer. Government-based EPs work with government entities like the military or police force, to access and design suitable exercise training programmes for the respective service personnel. The pay should be competitive, as it's under the government after all. And finally, it depends on the demand and supply of EP jobs where you're at. I'm an EP in Asia, Singapore to be specific. The job market for sports science industry here is still very niche, so opportunities are less available, but if one knows where to look and who to network with, especially before graduation, there are opportunities out there, but don't expect a high pay especially right after graduation. It however does provide you a living wage if you manage to land yourself a job offer regardless of the sector. For other regions where sports science is very well-established, like in Australia and South Africa, the sports science industry would have proportionately more opportunities for graduates.
