How does asylum work in Switzerland

Switzerland has a humanitarian tradition and deals with relatively more asylum requests than other European countries, given the size of the population. Over 14,000 applications were submitted in 2019 and about a third of these people were admitted provisionally.
However, migrants heading for Europe often prefer to go to neighbouring Germany and France. The Swiss asylum authorities say a procedure that quickly sends failed applicants back home deters them.
If people are recognised as refugees, they might get help with living costs and finding a job, but the road to integration is a long one. In this ‘Switzerland Explained’ video, find out how the asylum process works and what conditions for asylum-seekers in Switzerland are like.

The true is most of migrants in Switzerland come from third World countries and just look for a better life in Switzerland, they are not Politic refugees but Economic refugees. Switzerland (which is a socialist country and land of humanitarian conventions) is so afraid for the image it emerges at the international level that it turns a blind eye and accepts many more economic migrants than it should compared to all other countries.

I will tell about the opposite side, which are not mentioned in this video. Asylum accommodation provided by SEM are like a concentration camp with many security guard. Asylum seekers are allowed to go outside 11a.m to 1 p.m and 2 p.m to 5 p.m . Other time asylum seekers are not allowed to go outside. Every time when they enter into the with strict security control. Eight person stay in a small bedroom inside the camp. If asylum seekers have fingerprint in other EU member states, then their chances is 0% in Switzerland. The SEM security take all the documents ( including bus or train tickets) from asylum seekers against their wish. Sometimes they don't give them back the original documents.

Yeah man, really switzerland should take up stricter immigration policies, if they want to protect that country it needs protection not only on the border, but from these internal factors too. I found it really great that the native swiss are opposing this and not stupidly welcoming immigrants like germany, france and sweden.
