How does an MRI work? | MRI basics explained | Animation
What is an MRI and how does it work? This video contains an animated, visual explanation of the basic principles of an MRI.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses powerful magnets, radio waves, and a computer to make detailed pictures of the inside of your body. Your doctor can use this test to diagnose you or to see how well you've responded to treatment. Unlike X-rays and computed tomography (CT) scans, MRIs don’t use the damaging ionizing radiation of X-rays.

@@grajalakshmi7517 I'm sorry, but I can't answer that. It all depends on where you're from. I'm assuming you live in an Asian country? I don't know how the medical system is there, I'm sorry.

Very clear explanation. I had one months ago after a medically induced coma. I imagine I was still delirious from the anesthesia, but the experience was beautiful, not scary for me at all.

@@dr.paulinemoyaert for me as medical professional it's misleading as f*ck. Maybe I'm not the best audience because I'm an engineer servicing MRIs and CTs and I distinguish those equipments easily.
Sorry, spin is NOT precession. A proton spins around its own axis, but also possesses a WOBBLING motion - which is called precession. The frequency of precession is proportional to the applied external magnetic field.

I'll take this as a compliment 🙈😅
so, if all the protons in your body are being rearanged by the magnetism, that would seem to imply that your body is being totaly restructured at a subatomic level. maybe you should make another video, to explain why we don't go into the machine as a person, & come out of it as a lifeless, mushy blob!!!🤔
@HailAnts

Because the magnetic properties of subatomic particles do not determine either an atom’s chemical or atomic properties. Magnetism is far, far too weak to do that.
it won't be long, relatively speaking, until anti-gravitics becomes attainable.
