Our first year with our new garage, in the blowing north winters we have up here in upstate NY, our garage took a huge amount of snow inside. Imagine my surprise when i open the door to walk in. The following year, door BRUSHES baby!!! Haven`t had ANY snow in the garage since. Just gotta love the simple things that fix bad things from happening. The brushes you installed are the same exact brushes we used for our roll-up`s. Now, because the trim is really wide on our garage around the doors, i was able to slide the aluminum behind the trim, screw it back in, you can`t even tell there is any brushes around the whole door unless you really look for it. Yup, they roll up an down harder, but it was well worth it! Lucas, go get some silicone door spray lube, spray the heck out of them brushes, it does help make the door open an close a little easier. Spray your latches too while you`re there, too. Great video`s as always.

Thanks for this! We've just got our barn built, which I'm insulating now, and I was wondering what the hell I was going to do about the big gap above the garage door! This is the perfect solution I think!

Thanks! It has made a huge difference in there. We were able to heat it and work out there during the zero temps a couple weeks ago!

You only build the building once, but you got to heat it forever. Hope you can upgrade those doors to insulated one day.

I like holding the item in your hand while using a powerful hand tool when your right next to a nice big bench vice, lol. Great to watch this as I'm looking to do similar. Thanks. Thumbs up.

Thanks! I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how I was going to fill a 3" gap at the top of my (4) 10' doors. Standing on the scaffold I could feel the cold air rolling in through the gap . . . BTW, great job on your building!

Would it work if you order a door a foot higher than your opening? That way you it should open tight to the header

How much did the door weigh? What did you pay for one?

I'm going to install those down the sides of my roll up door. I'm getting rain infiltrating one side. Good video but why the fish eye lens? It distorts everything.

You are right, it does. I film using a go pro and that is the trade off for portability and convenience. 🤷🏼♂️

How are these holding up for you? Are they the JaCor seals? I’m in the SW and the door company that installed my doors said they will curl up after a few months. JaCor said they sell the nylon one and they hold up fine. Dont want to tear up my finish trim for something that wont eventually work.
