This is probably the thing I struggle the most with and yet managed to hit plat last season (actually thanks to you) and currently at 1600 ELO flat since I haven't played in months Edit: With that new knowlegde I just hit plat for the Season after being denied twice for it and denied it for someone(The second I lost to an easy Scarlet match that only did sair, dlight nlight, dsig with Lance. My fault on losing, I choked hard). Now that it's done, guess the new target is mid plat!

you know, I think it says a lot when I'm consistently playing at 1900+ elo and I can still learn a lot from your commentary which is directed at coaching golds. There's no other person I'd rather go to for insight, I love these videos

i think eggsoup should do a video on "how not to get 3 stocked by eggsoup" and maybe talk about how to come back when you are getting killed when the opponent is only light yellow. Also how not to become too arrogant and lose the game when you are in the lead. Those are the things I struggle.

Egg is someone we truly need in brawlhalla community.I've seen pros doing guides.They teach combos,reads and other stuff.I ain't saying it isn't useful.When it comes to actual gameplay, it's not easy to execute all these combos and stuff.We are all lacking something that these pros didn't mention.I can spot my mistake and learn from it to improve my gameplay because of Egg.His couching has been helping me a lot since I've become a big fan of his.Thanks to Egg for all these hardwork.

For me the next best practice area is probably getting back into a custom lobby, setting a non-ai bot up, and practicing the different dodges and what my options are against them. Because I think the main reason I'm losing many fights isn't the matchup, but the uncertainty and missing knowledge on how to play vs a certain weapon and punishing dodges, or just knowing what strings I have available.

Yo egg, when I get back to the US soon, I will most definitely tune in to the stream and hopefully get a coaching session. Im an "old diamond" IG but Im sure the diamonds now are at a different level. Im really set on getting back to my old ELO and I genuinely think you could provide me with that push I need. Love the videos. Thanks for making them so informative.

How do I find my flaws? I’m gold Ik I suck but I DONT KNOW WHAT TO GET BETTER AT. The only thing I know I actively struggle with is speed, i’m pretty slow movement wise.

Just dodge jump off the ground every time you leave the ground and fast fall a lot

Look at replays. Look at where you whiffed or got hit and asked how you could've landed that hitbor avoided that attack. See if you can find enemies habits and your own

Learn to dash when grounded. Mixes up movement and back dash can space you out to punish if possible.

The Replay Feature will literally your best friend. Opens you up to so much that you missed during a match due to the heat of the moment and you can pinpoint scenarios and matchups you struggle with.

I think the key to getting past silver is to just get your mechanics down. It’s not a rank where you should prioritize reading your opponent cause they don’t even know what they’re doing 😂

Well first of all, get comfortable ,with movements, turn them into muscle memory. Then wait it out, go punish, at first memorize approximately the recovery frames of every attacks and punish there, don't wait till they can attack again and punish, that'll be your mistake and they'll punish instead. It'll be smooth sailing from there

doesn't really matter which rank you are for these in all honesty since you can always gather info from everyone you play, just directed moreso at gold players to see what they specifically struggle with
