@@basobbens4149 yeah that made me wince, ziptied on? I would not feel comfortable pulling on that slingshot. I recently ordered a kasune wooden slingshot for like 12 dollars on amazon and its really small and smooth so i can put it in my waistband when i ride my bike around jacksonville (with 3/8 steel balls it can be scary accurate and powerful)

I would have brought the tubing on over the 90 ⁰ and then secure it, just to make sure it didnt slip off. Great design!

It might tear from the threaded rod eventually. Especially as it’s bent to 90• it will slice the inside of the tube.

Сложно и ненадёжно. Если резинка сорвётся со стяжек, а она сорвётся, есть риск получить ею по щам(((

Кто же делает фиксацию резиновых жгутов во внутрь? Это ошибка того ,кто в детстве никогда не делал рагатки. Советские мальчишки делали рагатки даже из прещепок ! Но узлы фиксации жгута , всегда делали наружу, воизбежания рекошетов при стрельбе

В детстве делали рогатки из дерева, срезал раготулину с ветки, снимали кору, саму раготулину связавали верёвкой, и сушили на костре, потом обстрагивали в виде фужера или рюмки на ножке, потом продовался жгут ширеной сантимов 6 его резали на в доль. Вот это была рагатка метров с 30 куском сахара голубям головы открывала, лёгенькая, в корман положил и пошол гулять.

Ещё из резинок делали, венгерка называлась. А стреляли гнутыми короткими алюминиевыми скобами. Весело было, но и опасно.

Все хорошо но в конце когда начал крепить резинки хомутами пластиковыми это провал) они очень хлипкие и нормальное натяжение не выдержат я с ними работаю и знаю что такие маленькие хомутики могут только прижать!! , зажать как положено жгуты с сильным натяжения увы нет, и скорее всего жгут/резинки ударят по рукам ( у кого были рогатки в детстве поймёт о чем я ) вообшем момент с хомутами нужно дорабатывать , а сама идея очень даже не плоха!)

Помню в детстве делал самострелы которые стреляли камушками или если повезёт подшипниками,кинескоп старого чёрно- белого телевизора метров с 10 в дребезги расхерачивал,рогатка тоже всегда была с собой,потому-что после пяти десяти выстрелов из самострела приходилось перевязывать места креплений резины,блин мне лет 11-13 тогда было,а ещё тогда и карбид в банке постоянно взрывали,во веселуха была,это помнят дети 90-х ну и раньше которые были 80-х,они и научили нас всему,а их походу 70-х

Да, неплохо +ещё хороший камешек и в лоб будет ощутимо😆где ручку сумки зашивал для камня, лучше, гладкой стороной сделать к камню без концов этих пришитых. Нужно показать в деле, а за отверстие на ручке крепить к поясу👍УСПЕШНОЙ ОХОТЫ:)

Am not sure if the tube will tolerate the glue, the tube is a urinary catheter use in the human body. The super glue might react with the tube.

🤔The dead ends of the leather that he bent in and stiched...should have been on the outside because the projectile that will be shot can get caught on the dead end and get sent back right to the shooters face....🙂

I noticed that as well. The rubber tubes should go past the 90 degree bends on the threaded metal pieces to avoid using the zip ties and reduce the chance of the bands letting go and snapping you in the face.

Шатун маловат от кировца нужно было брать🤣🤣🤣🤣

Мы делали из электрода 5 или 6, брали резину с велосипедной шины и кусок шланга(на рукоять). Шариком 6мм пробивало 10мм доску. И все без ваших там поршней и прочего ***

From experience, the bands will wear very fast from the screw thread because of a sawing type of movement on the inside. Also, the zip ties will cause quick wear as well.

Резинка эта из катетера покрыта каким-то силиконом и из за этого не хлесткая

Надо было ещё использовать фрезерный и токарный станки, а то как-то маловато гемроя с одной рогаткой. Плюс добавить космических технологий, шикарно вышло бы. Интересно чем он мух убивает, страшно представить.

De niño usé muchas "armas" de ese tipo, nosotros les llamábamos "resorteras" y las hacíamos con una horqueta de alguna rama, las mejores eran en forma de "copa" y los hules (ligas) eran recortados de cámara de llanta de carro y un trozo de cuero para colocar la piedra y de acuerdo a mi experiencia, la mostrada es defectuosa en lo siguiente: La estructura de la horqueta es muy fuerte y está bien pero las uniones de todos los puntos de sujeción al extremo de las ligas son muy endebles y estarán sujetas a un gran esfuerzo por lo que seguramente se safarán a los pocos minutos de uso!!!

Good! I didn't have wood. This is a lot easier!

Leather strap piece needed to be folded outwards else , it’s edges may misdirect the missile. The tubing needs to go over the ninety degree bend.. else it will eventually fail

все же, считаю, что рогатка должна быть из дерева, а кожанка должна быть без загибов и приводится в действие медицинским жгутом, есть варианты и потолще и потоньше...

I've never used wood for my slingshots growing up I always used to use those thick ass coat hangers the metal ones and then I would use those packing rubber bands that were like super thick and super long and then I would use a soul of a shoefor the patch let me tell you that thing was powerful but this seems like this would be out of this world powerful I might definitely check it out thanks for the upload . also used to do weapon called top shooters take a plank of wood put a nail at the end nail it into the board then bend it towards yourself or away after nailing it in the board it doesn't matter which way you bend it and then with the head curved into the wood but before that put your rubber band like you would use for slingshot one of those thick ones not no little bitty frail ones that you use for your hair but the ones that nice and thick and big stretchy then once you have the rubber bands proceed to knock the head of the nail into the board that secures the rubber band from coming off so it looks like a loop that way the rubber band won't come off then at the other end of the plank you would take a clothespin put it on the other end the opposite end of the board and for this part you can use regular hair rubber bands or wrap those thick hair rubber bands around it to secure it to the board once you do that get your pop can top or beer can top not the screw on but the flat that you pop put that in the rubber band and pull it towards the clothespin so that it'd be nice and tense you have to have tension on it then you open up the clothes pin and pull it towards the clothespin close the clothes pin down on the top and the rubber band aim it at some pop cans or whatever for target practice and get your shooting on that's what we did as kids as well with slingshots and top shooters it worked very well with the old school beer can and soda pop can tops not the screw on it has to be something flat you can probably even use pennies if you have strong enough thick rubber band for the weight and watch that baby fly if you have strong enough tension on it it will definitely do some damage

Amazing how a weapon that’s been around thousands of years could be updated and still be used in modern times although I’ve never seen anyone hunting with a slingshot you’d have to be close enough to the target in order to get a accurate and fatal shot if your hunting small animals like birds

@@jaredharris1970 Maybe if you shot it between the eyes from like 10 yards haha, but for smaller game it definitely works. You can take birds out from pretty damn far.

Nice, well crafted! Resembles the one I bought on vacation once. Walked around shooting over buildings or windows from deserted buildings untill I learned catapults are prohibited ovee here.

Best back to school video I have ever seen

You should heated up the bolts before bending. The bends are significantly weakened now. Next use something else to hold the rubber on besides cheap zip ties. Enjoyed the music and build though.

Flexible handle will give you more distance than a crank pin. A rigid handle will however provide more accuracy. A good material for the base or handle is bamboo. Light, easy to work with and very strong.

А, теперь опиши чувство того,как она охреннено лупит по руке, заворотом резины внутрь и на пластиковых хомутах!! Лол, ещё и на шатуне... 👎👎👎

I remember when my husband made a sling shots for our son's school game booth made of potato smashes handle n using small square pencil eraser as the "bullet". My son came home so happy as it was a big hit among the boys.

Really cool video, but I wish you would’ve demonstrated how well it shoots.

Стяжками не практично..при больших нагрузках сорвутся или порвут резину при сильном натяжении..может быть не сразу,но всё равно очень быстро. А так всё здорово.

My wrist rocket has been broken for about 10 years now it’s the pouch that was broken and I LITERALLY threw my old belt out 10 minutes prior to catching this video in my recommended, well sir, I took that belt out of the trash and cut a length and am going to finally fix it !
