#1 way you can tell if an INFP likes you: They spend more time with you, and make time spent together happen. I'd be careful to say an INFP asking you lots of questions about yourself is a clear sign. It can also mean they saw something interesting about you and they want to understand it better -- but *not* that they're looking for a deeper relationship. If they dig around just once, dismiss it. If it's an ongoing dialog and they're seeking you out to keep learning more, that's a better sign. But absolutely right you are never going to know at a surface level where you stand with an INFP.

Honestly, we do this with friends too. All of these are signs of affection from us, but whether it's platonic or not, you probably wouldn't be able to tell unless you ask, or they do something obvious.

This was so good and accurate omg. I would also say we might be extra caring/empathetic/understanding of you/your thoughts/choices. Like we are usually caring for our loved ones like family and friends, but if we think you are The One™️ then we will care about you way more than usual (i guess this kinda ties in with the "do things for you" and "initiate conversations" points lol)

I accidentally flirted with an infp at work bit freaked out when he flirted back, he turned kind of cold but lingers around me. I am INFJ and I avoid/ignore him because I can‘t deal, then I feel bad and guilty for putting him through this.

I am an INTP, I have been chatting to an INFP girl for a month(we never meet in person btw), she mostly initiate conversation and whenever chat almost end, she will find another topic or try to keep conversation going even until late at night(we live in the same country), she usually talked about her imagination and asked scientific question to me, but I really dont understand why INFP take a very slow time to get the relationship going further.

He said it was a pain to learn. So what did I do? I met up with an INFP as an ENFP. I do not know if it was a date though. We text daily currently, even if its not much. He drove me home, payed for my drinks and I payed for his on the meet up after. We also hugged each other multiple times, touched each others hands a bit and he let me pick music to listen to from his phone in his car.
