Mr. Logan...I really need your help. If my quadratic equation is x^2-4x+5....how can I figure out the x intercepts? Positive 5 does not have two numbers to make it positive five and also equal -4. If I take the entire equation and multiply it by -1, then -x^2 will still not come out correctly.

Thanks for posting all your videos. I'v been binge watching these things, a day before my exam, because I've forgotten how to do all of it.

but what if i have something like 3x2( three x squared) instead of just x squared?

how will you know if you don't need to find the x intercept since there are some parabolas that don't cross the x axis

Oh now I understand it multiplies to 4 and it adds to 5, see this is the Part of the factoring that I needed to know, and Brian McLogan really nice job solving it using your brain. To be fair it was pretty easy. But the thing is there is factoring problems that are so hard to factor because they include really big numbers. There’s probably a video out for it, I’ll check. Thanks for this video, it helped me.

I have plenty of videos on solving via the quadratic formula with negative radicals, however please note that gives you the values of the x-intercepts not y
