Ok I see a lot of low porosity high porosity 3c 4c but how do you know what your hair is? I'm pretty sure I'm like a little tiny bit 3c mostly 4a maybe 4b but not sure of the porosity

I have high porosity. That's the worse one I feel. 😂

is it ok to dip you lots in hot water?

You can usually tell if your hair gets dry often; has a hard time staying moisturized.

Do a porosity float test: Take a few locs of your hair and put it in a glass of water (half filled). If your hair floats at the top, you have low porosity hair (a lot of us with 4 type hair have low porosity hair). It has a hard time retaining moisture. If your hair floats in the middle, you have medium porosity hair. If your hair drowns to the bottom of the cup, you have high porosity hair.
