How Do I Set the Right Boundaries at Work? | S1E1 | New Here

So, you’re in a new job. Do you know how to set healthy boundaries?
This week on New Here, we learn why it’s important to set your boundaries at work from day one - and how to do it.
Host Elainy Mata talks with her own therapist about how boundaries come into play at work, how to define them for yourself, and how to handle the discomfort you feel when a colleague crosses your boundaries.
Then Elainy and her work friends Dustin Brady, Jhymon Moodie, and Cheyenne Paterson discuss her therapist’s advice and share what they’ve learned about how it feels when boundaries get crossed at work.

Now before i go ahead and listen to this podcast regarding this subject , i'd like to share my own view on HOW? based up on my own experience which is over 10 years working with different companies in different lines of businesses The way i see it , your main goal should be going to work to be productive regardless of the financial outcome because that itself is the ultimate key to professional and self growth , then you should maintain a neutral social interaction with your colleagues , things like Hello , Hi And Bye and don't ask deep personal questions or try to figure out someone's personal life using different methods , especially if that person is an introvert. Incase you would like to have a rational discussion regrading some "public matter" , you should have enough courage to invite that person to the discussion without beating around the bush just to know their perspective on the subject out of "curiosity" Finally don't turn your workplace into an ideological warzone , just focus on the job I will gladly listen to this podcast if i hear a clear response from you on what i said Have a nice day.
