Thanks for putting us 'old guys' down with the waffle grill comment, just remember that us old guys from the 80's with our waffle grills are the one's who started this whole bass thing...

i always buy the waffle grills (i think i have a couple laying underneath my bed.) they are the cheapest and offer the best protection. The other grills work if you have something big, but lets say that you forget to put a wrench back in a toolbox. Those other grills might protect it, but the waffle ones have the best chance of keeping your woofers alive. granted they do dent easier.

I have a JL 10w7 and I don't like the way the jl specific grille looks, I was wondering if the second grille you guys showed (the drill in bar type grille) would fit with the JLw7 since the rubber sticks up so much

What is your guys' opinion on/is it possible to run two different subwoofers in a trunk that are also different sizes and different brands; i.e. a JL 12w3 and a Rockford Fosgate T1 10"

possible but make sure they're both in the same type of box (e.g. both in ported boxes or both in sealed boxes, separate ones obviously and tuned the same) as otherwise they would cancel each other out

I have a 12" running 1200 and it was intense in my suv. Now it's in my sedan with a new box and I have ski whole in the back seats and the sound doesn't seem to be all there. Any recommendations?

Invert mounting woofers can help too. Hell, I though about wrapping chicken wire around the basket but it could look trashy unless a master fabricator knows how to make it look good.

I have 2 12" Power Acoustik FUBAR that rib 1800w and an amp my cousin sold me that runs 1400w. Do you have any idea on why my terminal cups on my ported box would heat up and melt? Also any ideas on why my amp would continue to shut itself off? I don't have it running on the highest setting of the amp.

That is a dumb ass question you should have answered that with screw a plywood board over the speaker and screw it down to the rubber surround making sure to add extra silicone inside the woofer cone🤣🤣🤣🤣
