Will the sun shining through the window ruin the fragrance or make it evaporate quickly? I just purchased one of these and I am trying to prepare before it arrives. I was thinking about making a little cover for it.

Can you use perfume base as diffuser base

I’ve had customers state that they can’t smell the fragrance after a while. I am using candle science fragrances that have been diffuser approved. Any advice?

Hey!, have you checked the IFRA recommended maximum for the specific fragrance you are using?, it may be that you can increase the amount of fragrance you are using.

How and location for materials.

Is the diffuser base is alcohol?

You tip the bottle over ever so often. The oils are soaked into the bamboo top. This releases the fragrance for days.

So do you go by the IFRA 10A percentage recommendation for Reed diffusers or you just use 25% fragrance oil across the board? 🤔

When I did mine I couldn’t smell anything in my car - just only in the wood 😭😭😭

I upped my ratio to half base, half fragrance or essential oil and that seemed to help. For really strong fragrances I can see doing this for though

How does the fragrance come out if it’s covered with wood top?

When you tip the freshener upside down for 3-5 seconds, the oil actually soaks into the wood! I have one of these and it works great.

Since the exact amounts are not indicated in the video, I would assume here that they were measured in grams according to the product labels. I would approach this first depending on my container size and determining the weight in g for the volume I need. ex. for 10ml, extract 10ml volume of the base then determine its weight in grams, and use 75% of that number for the base amount. I guess i would use the corresponding 25% in grams for the oil to maintain consistency, although the same process would likely give a different weight for the oil when compared to the base. 🤔 Input from anyone with experience in this would be nice.

Since it’s a premixed base I would just eyeball it. Other commenters mention needing a higher ratio of fragrance than 25% so you just might need to see what works best for the fragrance you have and how strong you want the smell
