How do I get shingles on my roof?
Today we are working on a home that is on a steep slope driveway and we are not able to have it in roof loaded by the supplier. Here is an example of what we have to do to be able to get all of our roofing materials loaded onto this roof.
We use a ladder hoist or also known as a ladder elevator.

Very cool. A mechanical version using a block and tackle would be nice. Maybe Harbor Freight has something.

Crazy how the operator is standing directly under the lift while operating it! Would be much safer to have the control outside the drop zone!

True! His foot controls the belt and he has a hand brake to bring it back down.
Anyone else work tools for multi billion dollar manufacturing companies and never seen this before?
That is a tall ladder. How long is that section of ladder ? Can beat those systems unless you unless you can get the delivery guy to boom the shingles up to the roof for you.

Makes sense for a commercial operation. $1700 for a Tranzporter system.
