Can the Maximus use a PCP type air supply? If so I'll buy one.

Besides the 3 gram rubber balls, can it shoot caliber 7 gram aluminum balls? If yes, can you please record a video and chrono it?

Sorry for the late replay, very busy building more MAXIMUS! Yes no problem as long they are true .68cal made for this type of guns and top of the line balls, not just sling shot balls... If we get some spare time we will make that video.

Yeah it can, many less lethal content creators have demonstrated the use of the heavier aluminum balls using 40+ Joule HDX and HDB. Do a small search on KZread and you'll see it for yourself. That being said, metal rounds can and will damage the barrel over time and the HDX are really made for up to 5 grams at most for maximum power and speed.

@Joreel, thanks for the feedback. I was curious as to the best 68-cal ammo. I know Hotspot recommends T4E Ruber projectiles. I am interested in how 68 cal nylons would perform against 68 cal rubber based on FPS and accuracy.

@@Sola_Scriptura_1.618 The rubber ball will work nicely as long as you remember to put a little silicone spray on them so they fire smoothly. I tried using the nylon rounds that came with my Byrna and they jam about an inch down the barrel. I tried some generic pink ones I got on Amazon and they worked great. I also use the Homewrecker rounds and I love them because they work great in my Byrna, HDX, and Salt Supply S2.

@Joreel , thanks for your feedback. I will keep the silicon spray tip in mind for when I do use the T4E rubber balls. Are the nylon balls you recommend from Riot Balls? Waiting for my 68 Cal to be delivered and just getting familiar with all my options. I'm new to this and can't wait to have some fun. Thanks again.
