There is radio fuses under the dash by the steering wheel. But disconnecting your batteries posts for a few seconds should do the same thing. Follow the + terminal on your battery to see if it goes to the fuse box. It should be connected or you would have no power. Ask a local mechanic to take a look throw him a few duckets to thank him. Nothing that I saw here is out of their wheelhouse.

Press and hold what? Mine is stuck on the jeep screen nothing works. I hit the power button and hold it but nothing resets. Such a bummer.

I have a 2018 Cherokee sport. Same layout as the video shows. We have full functionality with Bluetooth on our iPhones, but can’t hear KZread audio on the car or the phone while connected to Uconnect.

Found it my wasn't working just now so I looked at this but I disconnected the positive on my battery for like 30 seconds and reconnected it and it was perfect

I've disconnected my battery and it didn't work.

Reading through the comments, I am just now remembering that I actually called Mopar and asked them to waive the fee or offer a discount for the diagnostic testing. They said no.

For the soft reset you have to hold for 20 seconds and you could try to unplug the battery and plug it back in

Has anyone had any luck? Mine comes on and the screen works but it takes 3-5 mins and it won’t connect to my phone with Bluetooth or aux.

Apparently there has been a law suit on this! Towards Uconnect. Not only jeep owners but pretty much most cars using uconnect are experiencing the same exact problem! So if you fix it safe your receipt, Idk MAYBE you’ll get compensated?

The same issue !😡 My radio stuck with logo JEEP But it’s play music on the same program channel radio , also usb not work . I was in company of jeep and they told me to change radio. I go and to another 2 shops of electrician car and they told me the same . This problem start when I bring my car at the car-wash , try to connect usb and happen this stuck 😶‍🌫️

No, I don't still have the link. Its not that easy. You have to get the link, download the software onto a thumb drive then plug the drive into your jeep and download the sofware into the Jeep. Call UConnect directly.

There's no fuse going on that slot, if you notice it doesn't show the fuse Amp next to the number. Most likely your module it's gone.

I looked at other videos of the engine in 2014 Jeeps and they all have that second wire missing.

I’ve had the same issue now for almost 2 years. Same car and I connect. It’s really annoying, because I’ve tried replacing my rear brakes and in order to do so you have to set the car in “service mode” through the screen in order for the calibers to go back in place to put the new brakes in. I’m almost certain jeep did this on purpose. Never buying a jeep again.

I had my brakes done at a local mechanic. They didn't need to use my touch screen for anything.

I'm having somewhat the exact same issue, but my radio screen gets stuck at times and the radio goes off then back on I can't change my radio stations , I've changed fuses and disconnected my battery and nothing helps , as for the missing cable for the battery that you mentioned there isn't anything on mine either .

Does anyone know how replacing it would go? If I would have to recalibrate the system etc. I have no touch function but screen will change with voice control for radio and navigation but they are on sale $40 for the screen and I am debating just trying to swap it. They were $200 on Amazon now $40 may be worth it 😅

A friend of mine worked for Chevrolet for a bit and his best advice was just replacing the screen, cheapest option but if the software itself is the issue then idk 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and everything yours does down to the vents, heated seats, radio station and all it’s doing. I’m so desperate for a solution.

I have issues with my touch screen also. A lot of the time when I turn my jeep on, it won't come on. I have to turn it on then back on again for it to work.

@@anna.richard10 not yet. I'm saving to get a new one. A friend of mine has a newer Chevy truck,and his touch screen was doing the same thing and he paid a lot of money to replace it. My guess is touch screens only last so long.

Looks like a lot of people have similar problems. My the screen is lock on jeep logo. Piece of crap radios. I had to buy one on ebay. $100. I hope Mopar get law sue. I still don't know if that solved my problem. That may need to be program. Jeep radios Suck!.

Think Jeep should have a recall on this seems like there’s probably a ton of people having same issues, we shouldn’t have to buy a new radio for that much especially since the radio works just touch screen don’t 🤬

I have a 2014 Cherokee same thing radio works by steering wheel but touch screen does nothing by finger😡gotta be someone who can have a easy fix! I did the soft reset and unplugged fuse for few minutes same problem still for almost a year.

Uconnect has a contract with Mopar. No one else can make any repairs. Hopefully someone on KZread will see this and offer a solution.

My radio is not the problem. My touch screen is not working. The touch screen controls the radio. Not the other way around.

Welkies . Take out uconnect fuse clean it reinsert it properly. It's in the fuse box
