you can either use numbervalue or int in front of the existing formula. I struggled with removing the 1 in front of phone numbers I was trying to format. It took me hours to figure out that formulas return values as text even though the human eye sees them as numbers

Now i can't copy/paste those cells / new edited numbers because is used that formula.

if you want to crack this more let me teach you ="CountryCode"A1 than you will directly can save in the google contacts or somewhere, its fast and easy thanks me later
