Tommy insists that Jay using wind was an error, as in, that moment slipped through the cracks and wasn't supposed to happen. But it makes so much sense when combined with Morro's "lightning" and Wojira's amulets. So it'd be cool if they intentionally created Wojira's amulets to un-retcon Jay's wind

In season 8, since Lloyd has matured, so has his power. That means that when Lloyd got older, his power that he gave to the ninja turned into their own power. That explains why when Lloyd lost his power in season 8, the other ninja still had their powers.

Well, you can't forget about their ancestors. I know I'm new, but here's how I look at it: In the end, their powers are a result of their ancestors, but for some reason were weak enough in the 4 original Ninja that they only became fully usable/accessable with the Golden Power, making them no longer in need of assistance. Perhaps because they'd never tried any other way. This can be proven by the fact that the Scythe of Quakes doesn't respond to Nya like it did to Cole. Cole's element corresponds to the Scythe of Quakes, making him able to tap into the Staff's Earth Power. Another instance of this is when the Ninja are taught that their powers came from their ancestors. Sensei Garmadon actually confesses that they kept it a secret to make them feel special. Also, if it only came from the Golden Power, explain the existence of the other Elementals' Powers.

Also important to note: True Potential powers and the tornado of creation are reliant on existence/proximity of the Golden Weapons.

Yes this makes total sense Nya telekinetically Controls ice. Jay produced wind. But morro using lightning isn’t a big Deal He was in Lloyd’s body and lloyd has shown to produce green fire So It makes sense.

I think true potentials r more so getting stronger rather than a mode where the ninjas get glowing eyes which would explain why nya doesnt use hers after she unlocked it

I think true potential it's like getting over a stage of power but it's not your peak...I mean even after unlocking their potential they can still grow become more powerful and learn new aspect about their powers

Well it was said that the first spinjitzu master didn’t create actual the realm of Ninjago because it was the merlopians world first so it isn’t out of the question that there were others before him maybe other elemental creatures like wojira then he was able to take their power but not wojiras

5:22 idk if its a coincidence, but I think back in season 9 hunted, the wind and lightning dragons have VERY similar appearances. Maybe that could be reaffirming this theory. It doesn't seem like they're just trying to reuse dragon models for the sake of it.

I love their elemental powers spinjitzu is what got me loving the show and then their powers got me even more dive in

The reason why the ninja lost their dragon may be from the way of the departed where Zane says that it is harder to fous on their dragons

I have a theory on elemental powers what if the elemental master is the one who generates the element in their bodies and has the ability to release it that would explain why when kai loses his powers from aspheera he got it back as it needed time to generate back tho this wouldnt explain how the time twins didnt get their powers back

I wonder if only earth, fire, ice, lightning, water, wind, and energy are the only elemental powers capable of regenerating if they’re taken and the other elements can be stolen indefinitely, unless they’re returned. Skylar was unable to use her powers until Chen and his army were sent to the cursed realm, meaning the power got returned to Skylar. The time gauntlets never got destroyed as far as we know, so the powers didn’t return to the time twins

(5:22)the only reason why morro uses lighting is due to the fact that morro was in control of Lloyd

Btw the Elemental Staff is made of both Chronosteel and Blue Crystal cuz alone they can only hold one element but together they can hold multiple

I really like the thing with jay and wind.

They need to go into more detail of how the first spinjitzu master got his powers

Umm he is half dragon dragons have elemental creation

I think eveyr element is a byproduct of fire Earth ice and Lightning, for example wind can be fire and lightning combined, water is related to ice, nature, and metal related to earth, speed could be related to lightning, etc. And energy is if they are all mixed together. And creation is every element combined I think, with golden power being a more powerful version of creation, and destruction is destruciton i dont really know things get confusing witrh these 2

I’m honestly sad that Lloyd gave his power to the rest, they should have made it so the ninja get the powers and Lloyd keeps them.

Interesting how you brought up the first spinjitzu master not being the only elemental master because I’ve seen barely anyone talk about it

I know this isn’t element related but I would like the ninja to travel to the other realms especially the ones we haven’t seen yet

The wind element is basically extinct

So if a element master has twins would both inherit the element or just one

I would love to see golden power return

According to Way of the Departed, the ninjas stopped using airjitzu and elemental dragons because it draws dark magic. But idk if Way of the Departed is even a canon comic.

Well it is said the first spinjitzu master controlled all the elements and gave them to other people to protect Ninjago. But because of the recent season revealing wojira controlled water and wind, it’s possible he didn’t have all the powers in the first place and stole them from other creatures or people similar to wojira. But after he gave the powers away, they did become genetic
