Do you have any advice for finding a live out a pair of situation? How common is that?

I had a Skype interview with a family from Spain a few days ago and they contacted me the following day saying they would be happy to host me in the summer. I’m just wondering what is the next step from here and when should I next contact them?

Yes I’m an EU citizen and the family are living in Huelva in the South of Spain.. I have been contacting multiple families on Aupairworld the past few weeks and out of all the families, I liked this one the best. I have told them I would like to be their aupair and they said the same so what would be the best approach in regards to bringing up a contract? Thanks for the reply and I will check out the link now!

Just politely tell them that you like their family and that you would be interested in an interview, I'm sure they'll get back to you in no time.

Do you perhaps have the link for abc-families - or the exact address? I can't find the website & the one on their Facebook page does not work for me 😊

About to set off for my 3rd au pair experience (financing my love of travel) and I've used aupairworld for all of mine! It's great, but I have come across a few fake accounts 🙊🙊 This time I'm heading out of Europe and will be spending Christmas with my next family too. Any tips on how to stay in touch with people back home or good sites you have used for sending presents etc around the world? 😊

I'm off to Oz this time :) Ooo, possibly! I have sent you an email. Currently trying to teach the grandparents how to Skype! Whatsapp seemed to be most popular for keeping in touch with the friends I made abroad since I have been back in the UK. Also, Uni baggage is great for shipping excess things home if you're like me and buy too many things when you're away :') x
